The Florida Democratic Party has offered to pay to protect Republican congressional candidate Allen West from identity theft because it sent out a mailer featuring his Social Security number.
West, a retired Army colonel and YouTube sensation running against Rep. Ron Klein, was hit with a tax lien since paid in 2005, and the state party attacked him for it and other financial problems in a mailer sent out to 22nd District voters over the weekend.
The piece featured a photo of an IRS document showing the tax lien and while Wests address was blacked out, his Social Security number and his wifes Employment Identification Number were clearly visible.

Anyone have a link to his youtube?
Democrats can’t help behaving like scum.
Isn?t this a federal crime?
Not when you are a dimoKKKRAT and Eric Holder is running the DOJ.
Demagogues prove yet again to be vicious nasty snakes! Klein’s non-apology is nothing but another lowlife attack. Crush these bastards — Col. West should be supported by a maximum NATIONAL campaign to emphasize the depravity of the socialist state which controls too much private info and can ruin the lives of private individuals who have no recourse.
He should sue the snot out of them or have them brought up on charges. Surely this must be a crime?
The second lien was placed on our home by the school district for non payment of property taxes. But, we had paid the taxes in an escrow account and the mortgage holder had failed to pay the taxes. It took a while to straighten this out, but they finally paid the taxes and late fees.
A few short years ago I remember going to a very large protest outside the Palm Beach County Comission headquaters off Jog Road.
They tried to steal a presidential election there remember?
This is chump change to them.
Crappola, two years ago Franken stole a demned election in Minnesota for goodness sake.
These butt head Dems would crucify Christ.
And yet, no one can gain access to zero’s important papers. I hate the RATS more and more each day.
Yep. What Klein did was an a-hole move and messed with the wrong person.
West, a retired Army colonel and YouTube sensation running against Rep. Ron Klein, was hit with a tax lien -- since paid -- in 2005, and the state party attacked him for it and other financial problems in a mailer sent out to 22nd District voters over the weekend. The piece featured a photo of an IRS document showing the tax lien -- and while West's address was blacked out, his Social Security number and his wife's Employment Identification Number were clearly visible.I think retaliation in kind is in order here. Thanks pillut48.

It’s funny that Demorats can get West’s tax lien papers and we cannot get Obama’s BC.
Let me guess he abused his power as a congressman to gain access to information with-which to slime him with. How typical.
Things will no doubt get dirtier than this dispicable act.
He is a good man, I am sending extra money to him. Take that you Dem beetch-ez!
If I was Col. West I’d demand an investigation of how the Democrats got hold of a private IRS document. Or does the IRS release these to the public?
“Democrats cant help behaving like scum.”
Or they are just that stupid. Another reason the Dim’s cannot be in control.
West needs to contact the IRS and/or the FBI to find out how the Dems got his SSN. Release of SSN to unauthorized individuals is a federal crime.
“Federal laws that require the use of an SSN generally limit its use to the statutory purposes described in each of the laws. For example, the Internal Revenue Code, which requires the use of SSNs for certain purposes, declares tax return information, including SSNs, to be
confidential and prescribes both civil and criminal penalties for unauthorized disclosure. Similarly, the Social Security Act, which requires the use of SSNs for a number of different purposes, declares that SSNs
obtained or maintained by authorized individuals on or after October 1, 1990, are confidential and prohibits their disclosure.”
