(Alaska)Republican Party: We Stand Firm Behind Joe Miller
KTVA ^ | 09/17/2010 09:10:47 PM PDT | Alaska Republican Party Press Release

Statement from Alaska Republican Party:

Anchorage, Alaska -

Today Senator Lisa Murkowski announced she would re-enter Alaska's US Senate race as a write in candidate. Regardless of her decision the Alaska Republican Party stands firm behind our elected Republican Senate candidate Joe Miller.

"The Alaska Republican Party has been respectful of Senator Murkowski's service and tried to give her a moment of pause with which she could come to the right decision," said Alaska Republican Party Chairman Randy Ruedrich. "I am disappointed the Senator has decided not to respect the will of Alaska's Republican Primary voters. The 2010 Republican Primary turnout of 110,688 set a new Republican turnout record. I was hoping Senator Murkowski would recognize this fact and acknowledge this election was not an anomaly, misunderstanding, or mistake, but rather the definitive decision of a large plurality of Alaska primary voters. That decision deserves her respect."

"I want to make perfectly clear to Senator Murkowski and all of Alaska's Republicans that she will receive no support of any kind from the Alaska Republican Party," Ruedrich went on to say. "Lisa has chosen to run against the Republican Party and its primary voters. We will treat her candidacy as we would anyone who chooses to oppose our party's nominees."

I believe that the Mirkowski situation in Alaska and the similar situation with Castle in Delaware demonstrate that the Republican party has been infested with democrat moles. These two situations show along with previous political ones show that there are political moles planted in the unsuspected and smaller states. Nefarious actions out of the playbook of international politics. In the two situations cited it is very important that the Tea Party movement including probably Palin be neutralized.

We learn with each new event that the RINO branch of the GOP is every bit as destructive as we have long suspected. Each one must be driven out into the open and never let back in.

Anyone that donated to her in the past should demand a refund. The GOP should sue her to get her funds back since
they were raised under the premise she was a Republican.

This is a real kick in the teeth for Alaskans. Candidates who didn’t serve their voters are being fired and so they decided to screw their constituents in return.

The net result is that these RINOs as Independents will hurt the Democrat candidates worse. The only danger Miller faces is Murkowski’s money. If she turns that $8 million against him can she wound him such that a Dem wins by a nose?

I don’t think that will happen in this election cycle. Voters seem to be ideologically on target and in no mood for shenanigans.

The more she spends the bigger the story of her bitterness and arrogance becomes. Alaska is a small media market. You don’t need that much money and she’ll simply peel off voteres from the Dem candidate.

The support of the Alaska GOP to Miller is the more critical event here - GOTV wins elections.

I made it through 10 minutes of the video. Why the heck do these politicians think the world can’t survive without their great wisdom? I am embarrased to see the losers of primaries not getting behind the winner and encouraging their supporters to do the same.

Why does Murkowski think that she didn’t win in the primary but she will win as a write-in in the general election? Only one way—democrat votes and that tells you what you need to know right there.

It seems the liberal wing of my party is refusing to see the writing on the wall...Crist, Murkowski and Castle. They figure if they can’t win, try to make sure the tea party candidate doesn’t either. Since they don’t have the good sense to be embarassed by their behaviour—I’ll do it for them.

I am finishing my seasonal work schedule right now and have been out of touch for the most part with everything. I think another 6-8 weeks and then I am off season for at least 4 months.

And with very recent events concerning Sarah Palin and out of respect for her as my neighbor and security issues I am going “ghost” for awhile, I’m still here but I do not want any unfavorable attention, too many con artists out and about seeking dirt to turn into spin.

Best of wishes for Joe Miller and of course for Sarah Palin who may go down in history as the political “unifier” of the century, she can and will clean up after Obama, regain the proper course for the country and gain global respect once again, she is an American, born here and qualified to be POTUS, and she sure ain’t no Muslim and thats fer sure.

Lisa is selling tickets to the grand ships ball...on the eve of the day the ship “Titanic” sinks. She has mostly backing from monies coming from outside the state, there is a consensus many people think its all about humbling Sarah Palin by having Lisa go this route. She has been led to believe she has a chance to win an election with a MASSIVE monied campaign, she has 1 million of her own.

Alaska is a bit fed up with family owned politics, I know there has been a lot of newcomers to the state in the last decade and many faced a “wall” of trying to get a job, the family owned businesses refused to hire “newcomers” and now years later these people are the next generation of voters and they haven’t forgotten having to take lower waged jobs because there was a family business hiring locals only.

I had that unfortunate incident myself when I moved here to Alaska in 1992, a family owned business in Fairbanks offered me a job but after driving over 2000 miles to get there in late march and I was nearly out of funds I found out it was just a game Alaskans like to play on unsuspecting outsiders, I made a solemn promise to never allow myself that direction, I will respect people new here and will give them equal chances compared to local people looking for work.

So I have a lot of distrust for big family influenced groups, they think they are above others and take joy of playing games upon the people, Lisa doesn’t care about the people, its all about keeping the family dynasty alive in politics.

So thats my summary, the voters in Alaska will support Miller even more so and if anything we may have a much more public protest for Lisa to just...quit.

This is no longer about winning the election for the Murkowski forces. No one thinks she has a chance to do that the election. I would bet real money that the Senator knows that as well. But it’s no longer about winning for spoiled-brat Lisa. This is an exercise in pure revenge.

Murkowski and her handlers Bitney and Halcro all have axes to grind, and once sharpened, they would just love to use them to take off Sarah Palin’s head. Their real goal is to siphon enough votes away from Joe Miller to make Democrat Scott McAdams the winner. That’s the only victory they know is still possible in this race.

Actually, Scott McAdams now drops to third tier status and he will likely not break double digits in November.

This is a Murkowski/Miller rematch for all the marbles.

Exactly. McAdams will now simply be a distraction. Alaska Republicans need to rally to Miller to put a stop to this nonsense.

So you see, Palin, Miller, Ruedrich and Murkowski all have a history.

Ruedrich is the reason Palin resigned from her chairmanship of the Alaska Oil & Gas Conservation Commission. Ruedrich was conducting GOP business from his AOGCC office and leaked a confidential memo to an oil industry lobbyist. Palin reported this to Frank Murkowski and he refused to do anything about it. She resigned her $125,000/yr. job and went public. Ruedrich was hit with the largest fine ($12,000) ever levied in an ethics case.

Lots of history...LOL.

Oddly that same video is being used to show that “violent white KKK types” support Miller.

The asshats should have removed the magazines (”clips” for you all in Rio Linda) from the weapons - this was a parade for Pete’s sake - not a MBZ confab....

Look Fred, I spent a lot of years in the military - one thing that was pounded in my head - a weapon is LOADED if I did not clear it.

Having some fat-azz wannabe waltz down the street with a weapon that has a magazine in place make me nervous - OK.

So, ya, I have to assume thier is ammo in the magazine as I do not KNOW otherwise.

Have a nice day.

Facts are hard tings to overlook Fred

Anchorage FF/EMT accidently shot, killed - Alaska

Anchorage, AK- Elliot Taylor 8/8/83 - 7/14/10

Police on Wednesday identified the man killed in an apparently accidental shooting Tuesday as a 26-year-old Anchorage firefighter. Police say Elliott Taylor and a friend had just returned from shooting and were cleaning their weapons Tuesday evening when the friend’s handgun fired a round that went through his hand and hit Taylor in the lower abdomen.

Neighbor Kurt Spencer said he tried to provide first aid until a fire department crew arrived. Taylor was rushed to emergency surgery at Alaska Native Medical Center, where he died.

I am certain other can post recent stories about folks killed with an “unloaded” weapon.

So, just maybe Fred, you should consider being a tad more ‘scared’ when you see peole behaivng stupidly with weapons.

ASOC out.
