I’ve hated John Dingleberry ever since he lied about how much cheaper our phone bills would be if Congress broke up the phone companies. How long ago was that? In the ‘70s sometime? GET HIM OUTTA’ THERE!

55 years! You're kidding!

Here's what people were listening to on the radio in 1955:

Maybelline: Chuck Berry
Rock Around The Clock: Bill Haley and the Comets
Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White: Perez Prado
Sixteen Tons: Tennessee Ernie Ford
Love Is A Many Splendored Thing: Four Aces
Ain't That A Shame: Fats Domino
The Yellow Rose of Texas: Mitch Miller
The Ballad of Davy Crockett: Bill Hayes
Love and Marriage: Frank Sinatra
Make Yourself Comfortable: Sarah Vaughn
Autumn Leaves: Roger Williams

Elvis appeared on television for the first time.
Harpo Marx appeared on I Love Lucy.
The Quiz Show is invented with The $64,000 Question
The Lawrence Welk Shoe premiers on ABC.
The Mickey Mouse Club premiers, featuring many surfaces of Annette Funicello.
Captain Kangaroo premiers on CBS.

Oh yeah, Steely Tom premiers too, at a hospital in ... well, let's just say "in a very nice hospital somewhere in America."

If you reelect anyone this year, you clearly aren’t paying attention. This is the year to run guys like Dingleberry out of town on a rail. I think the Tea Party people need to start bringing the hot tar and plenty of feathers to their rallies; people are in just the mood to start using them, and Dingle is an outstanding first Candidate. The biggest problem we have is career “professional” politicians, and we need to fire every damned one of them.

I’m shooting small donations directly to a number of candidates these days as opposed to spending one thin dime that could possibly benefit any political party. Makes me feel good, and the Internet makes it possible. If enough people spread those $20 donations around to Conservatives they like no matter where they are, we can counter the National Dhimmies who are out practicing Triage in a desperate attempt to keep Nazi Peloski’s Politburo in business.

A vote for any Democrat is a vote for Peloski, Reid and Premier Hussein, and more of the same.

Actually it was his scumbag father who started the socialist Obamacare pitch back in the 30’s, same seat.

I am hoping we get the state legislature back so when we redistrict we can carve his sorry ass out ala Bonior.

That would make a great commercial for Steele. Playing all of those oldies in the background, visuals of the old tv shows in black & white, all of which will seem absolutely ancient to anyone under 40, and a voice-over saying something like “The year was 1955...the same year John Dingell went to Congress for the first time”. (copyright laws might make it prohibitive?)

There is one and only one good thing about Dingell. He is very pro 2nd amendment. Has been on the Board of the NRA. I know hard to believe but true.

I realize that he’s very pro 2nd Amendment. He’s the one who is supposed to have first said “jack-booted thug” when refering to the ATF busting into your home to confiscate your guns.

His wife Deb worked for years as a lobbyist @ GM.

I think after the bk she’s gone on to a think tank.

My aunt, Sister Mary Zachary, IHM, taught Dingell in grade school in Detroit, back when the earth was still cooling.
