A Warner Robins couple faces murder and cruelty to children charges after medical crews found their 2-year-old son starved to death inside their home.
23-year-old Sade Shamon King and 25-year-old William Thomas Davis III are in the Houston County Jail without bond.
Investigators and neighbors say there are many unanswered questions about why D'Shawn Davis was isolated and neglected for nearly a year inside his Tiffany Place home.
JoAnn Smith, a neighbor, says she was shocked when the couple who lived next door were arrested Tuesday and accused of starving their son.
"Believe it or not. There's food in the back for the animals," she says, pointing to two healthy-looking pitbulls in the couple's backyard.

The 2 year old weighed only 12 pounds six ounces.
Here is were that old Biblical “eye for an eye” thing should come into play. IMHO
I smell 12 hours of “community service” and 2 years probation.
I can't see that happening in Warner Robins. These *^%@'s are lucky they are safe behind bars.
Ping
Pray for prison justice.
Throw them in a cage and don’t feed them.
And a place on mac daddies team of morons and liars.
Know what you mean. I can't find the words for this, even in Klingon.
Have to invent a couple new evil deities just so's I could take their names in vain.
I went to Dachau two weeks ago today, and I’m not shocked by anything people do. (I wouldn’t have been shocked before visiting Dachau) However, these “parents” need to suffer the ultimate consequence for their depraved acts against their child. Hanging would be an appropriate punishment.
Sadly, I know what you mean.
Did the neighbor not know there was a child? If she did, did she never wonder where he was, and why she never saw him?
I am not sure how complicit this makes her, since some people don't walk their kids around much (just strap them in the car and drive off). But get this, "The couple's 5-year-old daughter also lived in the home but seemed in good health, it says. The girl is living with a grandmother now.
The Grandmother should d@mn sure well have known about the health of her grandchild.
Our Heavenly Father is holding this dear baby close tonight. I pray He rescues all children who are at the mercy of savages such as these.
Amen. Even most violent criminals have some sense of justice. These swine are the lowest of the low, likely demons in human form.
I wonder if they are meth heads or rollers and just did not take care of themselves or thier child.
This is such a strange story (altho I agree, how come the grandmother didn’t know?) But, the daughter was in good health yet the 2 year old was starved to death? Seems like something more going on. I recall a story many years ago in East TX a family with multiple kids kept one little girl locked in a room for years, they barely fed her. I can’t remember how old she was when she was finally discovered, but it was simply awful. The other kids were fed and basically cared for but for some reason the one was isolated and kept in isolated and starved.
Evil exists and this is it’s face.
