Heresy is a possibility. The so-called pastors who were going to burn the Quran were engaging in blasphemy, since the definition is carrying God’s name in a false or bad way. God never commanded, nor did Jesus instruct to do any of these things. Sometimes people forget themselves.
Sometimes the urge to prove just how ‘compassionate’ and ‘tolerant’ we are completely overwhelms all common sense and blinds us to harsh reality (like muslims denying that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and their stated desire to make islam and sharia the law in ALL the lands.)
I am well aware of what the Wahabis do. You can get lashes for wearing the cross. One of our service members found this out a years ago. He nearly got lashes. So much for tolearance. Gotta love those “coexist” bumper stickers.

The US needs to understand:
Islam and those that follow its teaching are irrational. You can NOT reason with Islam.
Islam demands of its followers to eventually convert or kill everyone on the planet. Right now, the primary targets are Europe and the US.
No tactics are off-limits when it comes to spreading Islam. None.
Since the Koran burning did not take place, the headline is a big fat lie.

The Churches that are trying to show moderation should read those verses every day. That is a pretty strong statement that they are “partakers of his evil deeds”.
Actually that statement should give every Christian pause.

Yes, I know you did and that is what I am asking you to do - please cite some references in order to back up your claim. The reason I brought up the mosque is because there was a very large group of Christians in Garden Grove that were evangelising the Muslims through those bridege events. I want to see if you have real data to back up your claim.

Right, Christians get carried away with open-mindedness and ecumenism. It’s not what Jesus charged them with doing, which is spreading HIS Gospel.
My POV re the quran burning is that it is a worthless book anyway so why bother with burning it.
