Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) used Twitter Sunday night to talk up Delaware's Christine O'Donnell, who is running against Rep. Mike Castle (R-Del.) for the state's Republican Senate nomination.
"@ChristineOD," Bachmann tweeted, "is right on all the issues.. pro-job growth, pro-life, anti cap-and-trade and anti-Obama care! Go Christine!"
O'Donnell replied several hours later.
"@BachmannforMN6 Thanks for your support. It seems that common sense conservative solutions aren't that common anymore. Time to change that," she said.
O'Donnell also received an endorsement from former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) last Thursday. The primary is Tuesday.
Wonderful News!!! : )
Yes!!
Just got my phone list; Come on Freepers.
Let’s help Christine make it across the finish line!
We here at the Tea Party Express are pulling out all the stops to help ensure a great victory for constitutional conservative Christine O’Donnell in Tuesday’s critical GOP Senate primary.
We launched a “Phone From Home” program that allows supporters like you from around the nation to do your part to volunteer and help this campaign for free. And we urgently need more people to join this program and make calls from home for Christine O’Donnell to Delaware Republicans both today (Monday) and tomorrow (Tuesday).
It’s simple for you to participate in.
Just send an email to: phonefromhome@teapartyexpress.org
We’ll send you a short list of Republican voters to call in Delaware, along with a very simple message to deliver to each of these voters.
We also ask that you ask 2 friends to also send an email to: phonefromhome@teapartyexpress.org and ask them to help out as well!
If you are uncomfortable making phone calls, you can also help by making a contribution - HERE.
And as always, if you prefer, you can mail in a contribution to our Tea Party Express headquarters:

I want these RINOs out of office. It is going to take more than one election cycle..but they better start to get the message to straighten up on conservative values or they are out.
I wonder: the Republican party of Delaware put Ms. O’Donnell against Biden went it was a lost cause. Now she has a chance to win, and they’re bashing her.
Seems to me the leadership of that party—and probably a lot of state parties—needs to be changed.
I think Biden and the Dem establishmnet is scrambling.
If Castle loses, Coons will probably win. And there go the agreed plans of a Castle retire/Biden appointment. LOL!
Could raising a gagillion adopted kids have anything to do with it?
LOL!! Oh yeah!
Maybe the Democrats throw the seat to Christine thinking that Biden will take it in 2014 easier than having to start with a primary against Coons.
My first thoughts exactly.
Politics being what it is...perhaps Sara and Michelle know last-minute support would be more beneficial.
I sure would like to know the why and how of it all.

“Because the attention span of the average politically-uneducated voter is that of a snail on Sominex and because they only remember the last election soundbite they read or heard that may have caught their fancy.”
Yes...that’s right. Sometimes I think so quickly or deeply on a subject, I pass right through the obvious, I must be more careful about that. Thanks
Thanks, Mountain Mary!
“I love Michele, but, I wonder what took her so long to come out for Christine.”
I think if you look at the larger picture, Bachmann’s endorsement (along with all of the other big-name endorsements in the last week) is not simply about a Senate race in Delaware. I don’t think it is an exaggeration on my part to say that this is really crossing the Rubicon here (this race even more than Alaska and the others) in terms of defining party leadership and the direction of the party.
Understand, this is taking a fairly big risk- if it backfires, and O’Donnell wins the primary but loses the election, there will be a lot of po’d establishment boys slamming conservatives for the loss (maybe even *doing their part* to help cause a defeat...), saying that the party needs to be more ‘centrist’, yadda yadda. (And add what you will to the fact that O’Donnell’s already ahead in the polls.). That’s my theory, at least...
Great timing to get this endorsement the day BEFORE the primary election than the day after. Go Christine!
Good timing, every day has been something new. And the day before, just keeps the momentum going, showing that every good conservative is moving to Christine.
