Gee, I wonder how this happened? I thought that $700 Billion (and counting) stimulus was supposed to solve everything.

I envy the Amish (the real Amish). The “progress” we’ve had during my lifetime doesn’t feel much like progress. It feels like a house of cards. All I want is a place to live and honest work. But I’m stuck in a society which seems very shallow and materialistic. It’s going to blow up in our faces.

You can’t buy gold unless someone is prepared to sell it to you. I have never had a problem buying gold or silver with paper currency. Why is that? Because gold profiteers come on these sites and peddle their fear scenarios to pump up the price and then sell. It’s called “pump and dump”.
