912 DC 2010 - Threat Of Rain Doesn't Keep Thousands Of Patriots From Marching On Capitol Hill

Not even dark clouds and the threat of rain could keep Patriots from across the nation from marching on Capitol Hill today, as they did one year ago.

The march began at the Washington Monument and proceeded up to Pennsylvania Ave. to the Capitol lawn.

The Gatlin Bros. sang "America the Beautiful" and a new rendition of "All The Gold in California," in a bank in the middle of Beverly Hills in Nancy Pelosi's name!

As far as I can tell CSPAN did not show one second of it. I checked Fox a couple of times and saw nothing. Very sad. We’ll see in a few weeks if this Ed Schultz rally with 30 people gets major coverage.

I’m surprised more of the mainstream media didn’t report on today’s events. Surely they must have thought some rabid tea partiers would be out there with racist signs etc.

I saw them talking to Dick Armey on Fox as couple of times and an interview with Ken Cucinelli who was going to be speaking at the event, so Fox was giving it coverage.

Thanks Stratman 1969! So glad to see a thread started about today's Freedom Works March & Rally on DC! Hubby and I were there and also attended the other events this week and 9/11 Memorial and March on DC/Rally yesterday.

Heading back to FL tomorrow to get to work and make sure every Representative to the US House is a Conservative as of November 2nd!

My local gun shop got a one time buy on 40 of them. Cost me $685. I had to buy a sight separately ($95).

Can’t wait to get it on the range.

Appleseed Project is coming to a range near me in late Oct. I plan to sign up. No point in owning a gun like this and not learning to become proficient.

Hey GRRRRR! Guess we should just ping our friends to this thread to spread the word. Know there were lots of folks from Florida there, and several of the organizers of events this past week were also from the Sunshine State. :)

I will ping Florida Freepers and hope Freepers in every state look for information on their state FR Boards about events in their area next Saturday, 9/18!

News will be spreading about next Saturday being “Read The Constitution Day”, and all across the country folks will gather to read the constitution together. Look for a location of a gathering, take your pocket constitution and be there!
