The pastor at the centre of the Koran-burning row has challenged a New York Imam to call off the building of a mosque at Ground Zero.
Pastor Terry Jones and his colleague Pastor K A Paul read out their telephone number live on television and said the Imam has just two hours to respond.
"It appear that the pastor has reconsidered his earlier deal over the New York mosque."

The media is covering this one man for a reason, whilst ignoring other “burnings” etc. The Aussie host on CNN International asked his American colleagues the exact same question?

The American hosts didn’t answer him. I guess he will be an ex-employee of CNN soon.
This guy may be a flake as a pastor, but he sure is playing this game well.
He called off the Koran burning because the 911 mosque builders promised they would talk to him about moving somewhere else. Then, when he said he was calling it off, the mosque builders announced that, no, they weren’t moving after all.
So, he paid the compliment of taking them at their word, and they turned around and proved that their word was worthless. Well, some of us already knew that, but what a great opportunity to publicize what the word of a Muslim is worth, even a Muslim being funded by the State Department.
I say, Burn, Baby, burn! I’m not about to become a member of his crazy church, but he has shown more sense about the Muslim threat than almost anyone in government or the media.
What's really sad, is nobody is paying attention to the anniversary itself because its being overshadowed by publicity stunts, and I fear this will just get worse each year now that it has started.

I could have answered the guy. Because a simple act like this can send a million brain-washed Islam followers into a violent frenzy.....and that makes for high ratings.
