President Obama apparently strayed off-prompter briefly Monday. This somewhat whiny reference seems like something that would come from a politician exhausted by marathon campaigning and beaten down by the opposition, which is odd for someone whose party is still in control of Washington and who spent the better part of the summer on vacation:
Obama was in Milwaukee to speak at the Milwaukee Laborfest, attended by Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood and AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka. He used the speech to promote his $50 billion infrastructure plan and to criticize Republicans ahead of crucial midterm elections.
Some powerful interests who had been dominating the agenda in Washington for a very long time and theyre not always happy with me. They talk about me like a dog. Thats not in my prepared remarks, but its true, he told the union crowd. If by like a dog Obama means that every one year of his presidency feels like seven, Im forced to agree with him. Otherwise its a little insulting, if for no other reason than that there are many breeds of dogs that could run the country at a lower unemployment rate.
How exactly does one talk about somebody like a dog? Or are the powerful interests talking to a dog or are they speaking as a dog? Are the powerful interests dog haters? Are the powerful interests democrats who are trying to get re-elected? Its anybodys guess.
IMO, this is yet another gaffe BamBam has made in revealing his Muslim affiliation. Americans wouldn't use a phrase about dogs in this way.
The cracks in his facade are beginning to be more obvious every day. He might not last for four years.
No, I would never talk about Obama like a dog.
One of his Hollywood friends had better tell Obama that self-pity is bad box office.
>> “ They talk about me like a dog.”
If so, “they” are being generous, Barry.
You should hear how we talk about you in the Tick household.
Imagine if he were Bush? The Establishmedia absolutely adore this clown and he whines like a little girl. He should read my book if he thinks he’s getting treated like a dog!
Pray for America
Our spoiled, narcissistic president is used to the people around him being entirely thrilled at his wonderful accomplishments, regardless of what they are — or aren’t. He has no idea how to handle, or even accept, failure. Everybody is just expected to stand back and marvel at what a brilliant little boy Stanley Ann’s son is.
I’m sorry, Mr. President, the job of the leader of the free world is not one for those who just want their ego stroked.
IF he had to take just 1/4 of what the left dished out towards Bush, he’d resign in a heartbeat, he couldn’t take it.
Didn’t he send a separate plane for the dog to go a vacation? I’m not sure what he means by this. Normal Americans love dogs. He is just so alien.
strayed?
Here’s your theme song Barry, well just play this instead of “Hail to the Chief”

Very true. The muzzies don't like dogs.
Just like Clinton.
These are the ones who, from Obama's perspective as liberal-in-chief, keep the minions so stirred up all the time.
My dog has a birth certificate.
As Joe Wilson said:
YOU LIE!
I have never talked about BO like a dog. I am fond of dogs.
Great I was in need of a new tag line!
LOL. That is so good, I’m in too much awe to steal it.
We've discussed his overall statement but have we yet talked about the poor sentence structure?
This is a very awkward sentence. I was waiting for it to be finished.
Seems like something should have been added after the "and they're not always happy with me" Or he shouldn't have used the word, "who".
You went to college didn't you? I realize you got in on an informative action ride but still, you couldn't pick up on how to utter a simple sentence in 16 years of education? You dog!
