Labrador. Next question.
LOL!
"20, 20, 20, four hours ago.... I wanna be sedated!"
I could get a Venti frozen coffee drink at Starbucks for about $6, or get pretty much the same thing at Quik Trip (52 OZ) for less than $1.50. Walmart and Sams Club, and Costco, oh my! But most importantly, where can I sign up for the 24-hour lesbian wrestling channel?
Mark Steyn is awesome!

“The oppressed masses refuse to stay oppressed.”
Yep. It’s difficult for the ruling class when victims become unvictimized.
Labrador. Next question.
I hope that pool is heated . . .
In that vein, Obama, Jesse Jackson, and Al Gore are all trying to use mass hypnosis as a means of compelling the public to obey them.
To do that they have to convey an air of authority and confidence (people accept trance inducement much more readily when the hypnotist is a powerful figure). Hence the trappings of power and authority are part of the process and not viewed by themselves or their followers as hypocritical.
Apparently, that was not included with my "bundle".
Love, love Steyn. When he is filling in for Rush that is the only time I can bear to listen to the entire show. His ideas, his manner of speaking, and the way he shapes his words just delight me.
For example, many of us already have expressed this idea around here, but who can not love a sentence like this?:
The planet can handle Jesse, Al and Prince Charles swanning about in SUVs and jets, but when you peasants start doing it, that’s unsustainable:
Bravo! Viva Stein!
All hail Mark Steyn! Truly one of the greats.
When I was younger (a very long time ago), I remember all the eco-disaster types who were bemoaning the loss of trees and vegetation due to the dreaded urban sprawl. When my Brit in-laws visit, they can’t believe all the trees we have in this country. But according to the eco-nazis, the Ted Kazcynski life-style is the one to be yearned for. Gee, I wish I could live in a 12x12 hut in the wilderness. (smirk)

For all our work on our lawns, gardens and fields, we need to thank God and ask for his blessings.
O God, Source and Giver of all things, Who does manifest Thy infinite majesty, power and goodness in the earth about us, we give You honor and glory.
For the sun and the rain, for the manifold fruits of our fields, for the increase of our herds and flocks, we thank You. For the enrichment of our souls with divine grace, we are grateful.
Supreme Lord of the harvest, graciously accept us and the fruits of our toil, in union with Christ, Your Son, as atonement for our sins, for the growth of Your Church, for peace and charity in our homes, for salvation to all. Amen.
