When members of a political party are not constrained by a religious belief system (like Judeo/Christianity), dishonesty and deceit as a means of gaining control over followers is perfectly legitimate (in the minds of the members of said party).

In that vein, Obama, Jesse Jackson, and Al Gore are all trying to use mass hypnosis as a means of compelling the public to obey them.

To do that they have to convey an air of authority and confidence (people accept trance inducement much more readily when the hypnotist is a powerful figure). Hence the trappings of power and authority are part of the process and not viewed by themselves or their followers as hypocritical.

Well-stated. It's the core of every POS anti-truth, anti-freedom, anti-individual, anti-life collective/collectivist/criminal that has ever inhabited the planet or the mind of "useful idiots".
