WASHINGTON John Boehner could walk down most American streets without turning a head.
But the perpetually tanned, chain-smoking Ohioan might be the next House speaker and a huge force in national politics, trying to manage an increasingly libertarian-leaning Republican caucus while leading the opposition to President Barack Obama's policies.

That doesn't mean they didn't listen. It only means they didn't take your advice. If you want things done exactly your way, you'll need to run for the office yourself. Just be prepared to be lambasted by everyone who disagrees with your every vote and utterance.
Mike Pence for Speaker!
When they vote against the express wishes of their constituents and deign to give you canned responses....then yeah, they don’t listen.
I’m done making excuses for them. They need to do what’s right according to the Constitution or they need to find another line of work.
I totally agree with you. Bachmann or Pence not that wuss Boehner. I don’t care whose turn they think it is.
I wouldn’t buy a used car from John Boehner.

I agree. He can’t speak. He cannot utter 3 words without saying ummm and uhhhh. That does not inspire leadership.
For a minute, I thought you were talking about Mitch McConnell.
Aaron wrote the words for Moses. Did Aaron lead the Hebrews out of bondage? We need a smart tactician. Boehner is a blubbering fool. Next...
It is almost better to be obscure in the public’s eye. One thing that is killing Obama, aside from his gross incompetence, is he has no foil — he has to bogeyman Republican to go against.
I get that. And so have thousands and thousands of other Americans. THAT’S why we’re holding their feet to the fire now. It took too long to wake up but we’re awake now.
Business as usual isn’t good enough anymore.
The smiling part got ya , huh?
