A career officer in the U.S. Army acting as a judge in the court-martial process for Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin today ruled that the military is no place for Barak Obama's eligibility to be president to be evaluated.
Army Col. Denise R. Lind today ruled in a hearing regarding the evidence that will be allowed in the scheduled October court-martial for Lakin that he will be denied access to any of Obama's records as well as any testimony from those who may have access to those records.
SNIP
Lind, who took 40 minutes to read her decision to the courtroom, disagreed.
She said opening up such evidence could be an "embarrassment" to the president and anyway, it should be Congress that would call for impeachment of a sitting president.

Wow. What a great observation. The nurse will be along any minute and also turn off my computer so you can regale the others with your wit and wisdom.
In a few months LTC Lakin will be found guilty. A couple months after that he will be sentenced. Hussein will still be CIC.
What are ignorant big mouths like you going to do about it?
Stomp and stammer some more?
I will continue to call for the truth to be disclosed and a USSC ruling on the NBC issue. I provided information to Alan Keyes on the collusion of the secretary of state of CA in the failue to call for evidence of constitutional qualifications. I will provide funds as I can to support law suits. I will support politicians who call for disclosure.
What will you do? Celebrate more delays in knowing the truth. Contribute more tax money to Obama's legal defense fund. Go anonymously to the internet and claim to be more intelligent than those who seek the truth?
Yeah tinfoil, fight for the truth.
Your opinion is not supported by numerous court opinions, many of them cited and linked on this thread. You might want to read them. LTC Lakin will be found guilty of missing movement and disobeying orders of superior officers. There can be no other verdict given the rulings by COL Lind. His sentence will be light, but will end an otherwise distinguished career.
Lakin and his lawyer expected this outcome, but are banking on being able to pursue their political agenda on appeal. They will be disappointed.
For the record, although I have provided this on many previous threads on this topic:
All of my posts reflect my opinion, I do not represent or infer that they are facts in law.
I believe that Mr. Obama was born in Hawaii.
I believe that he is the legitimate President of the U.S.
My speculation is that while born in Hawaii, he was later adopted by his Indonesian step father and held dual citizenship. I further believe that after the age of 18, he took positive actions (perhaps inadvertent) to confirm his Indonesian citizenship through the issuance or renewal of an Indonesian passport for purposes of obtaining preferred admission to either Occidental College or Columbia University.
I believe that he has gone to extraordinary lengths to conceal this and other information about his early life from the American people for obvious reasons.
I believe that the press and the Republican party grossly abrogated their responsibilities to the American people by refusing to challenge this complete unknown and demanding that he reveal the facts of his early life.
I believe that the only remedy to this sordid state of affairs is through the Impeachment process which I consider to have zero likelihood of occurring. That leaves the election of 2012.
Notice that I do not insert my opinions of Mr. Obama's qualifications for office into my discussions of how the military justice system will deal with LTC Lakin.
You can’t even get that right. It’s aluminum now and has been for awhile. Gop do your homework and hang up on yourself.
Probably put up with people who like you who automatically assume that if someone isn't a birther then they have to be an Obama supporter.
Nobody would like to get to the bottom of Obama's eligibility more than I. But that doesn't mean I'm going to jump on the band wagon of something I know to be wrong, or agree with people I know to be incorrect. Lakin is guilty. Obama's eligibility is irrelevant to his case, so I can see why the Army judge ruled as she did. It became a fools errand the moment the charge sheet was published, and Lakin was probably a fool for believing that Obama or the Army would walk into his trap in the first place.
As much as I would like to learn the truth about Obama I'm not willing to bend the law to do it. I'm not going to destroy military discipline or grant legal standing when it isn't due. I'm willing to take whatever steps - legally - to settle the matter once and for all. The fact that I put that qualifier in apparently makes me and those who believe as I do Obama supporters in your eyes. If that's the way it has to be then so be it. Your disapproval and your mistaken perception of what I believe doesn't bother me in the slightest.
Some days ago I posted to one of them (hmm, haven’t seen him lately) that his debating method consisted of frothing about how many lawyers can prance on the head of a pin.
Lakin has been trying to go through the proper channels to find out if 0bastard is eligible since 2008. I don’t think it was because he was listening to FR members.
BTW I think that your profile page is a bunch of lies, now that I see what kind of tripe you post on FR. As the old saying is:
“On the internet, no one knows you’re a dog”.
Well, I’m not too impressed with your debating method, although I do hope that that urinary infection of yours is responding to treatment. Regards.
If you want to impress people that you’re the genius, you need to start posting on retarded peoples’ chat rooms.
Give it a try! They may be impressed with your scalpel-like wit.
Give credit to the person to whom credit is due, a fellow 0bastard toadying suckup. They drag the discussion to that level, I just oblige by replying in kind.
I have followed many of the links in this thread and others. I agree that he missed his movement. I do not know whether Col. Lakin's punishment will be light, harsh, or even end his career. The findings will be appealed and drag on beyond the November election. This ruling would seem to make it more likely that he will eventually receive a new trial.
Continuing legal actions will be scrutinized and the story will continue to receive limited coverage in the media. Any coverage of this matter tends to erode Obama’s popularity and ability to lead despite the claims otherwise by some posters here. Despite the detractors here who try to claim that this issue is a loser... doubts about Obama continue to receive more and more widespread acceptance. The eligibility issue keeps inching closer to attaining the critical mass that would be required to force Obama to come clean... regardless of the legal rulings. Even the supermarket gossip magazines are starting to pick this stuff up. Amazing!
I do not claim to know what the ultimate outcome of Col. Lakin’s situation will be; there are too many variables in play. I do know that he is an admirable person with a compelling personal story. None of the other cases cited have been in the same league. I am not sure how relevant past legal precedence is here. A harsh punishment for Col. Lakin would probably be more damaging to Obama than if this is somehow swept under the rug. If the perceived stench of unfairness continues to reek from this case it will definitely cause problems. I think Obama’s BC slip up the other day when asked about why so many people think he is a Muslim show that this issue was very revealing about Obama’s true fears.
What do you expect me to take from this remark? That you have an opinion worth considering? No, I take you for some anonymous internet blow heart who doesn't know what he's talking about. Take your best shot. I've been shot at and missed and I've been shot at and hit. Guys like you don't bother me at all.
I read the discussions and learn a great deal, but have no legal or other training or knowledge so factually I can add nothing to the discussion. I’ve read on FR about 0bastard’s non-eligibility since early summer 2008, or whenever it first started to be discussed.
I’ve seen numerous trolls - either regular volunteer leftists, or hired administration hands, or just people who get their jollies from pi**ing on these threads. Some, actually quite a few, have been zotted, others still do their thing.
Anyone who wants a restoration of the rule of law in this country will be on the correct side of this debate. Anyone who is on the wrong side, is an enemy of the Republic.
It’s that simple.
I can’t predict the outcome of his case except that he will be found guilty. That will be a real shame. He will probably be dismissed from the service, but serve no time in confinement. I don’t know the details of his service, but I’ve heard that he has about 18 years which means that he will be ineligible for retirement benefits. His lawyer will be on to his next adventure.
Oh, and btw - the correct phrase is “blow hard”, not “blow heart”.
Webster’s Collegiate:
Blow hard - a braggart.
I am not bragging about anything; wrong term.
see my manifesto, post #225
Quite right, you are showing some progress. Long way to go, however.
