From Sean Cockerham at the Alaska Division of Elections office in Anchorage --
Update, 11:10 a.m.: Joe Miller's lead over Lisa Murkowski narrowed from 1,668 votes to 1,325 with the first count of absentee ballots this morning.
It looks like 2,391 votes were counted in this first batch. They're from Districts 17 through 26, all Anchorage.
More numbers to come.

Not that LOL, they don’t use punch cards (optical scanners).
But I couldn’t say, it could be very many things.
Yeah “New Ballots” were just found..we all know what’s going on here. Someone with 2 brain cells can see what is going on..this is rigged. This kind of rigging would make David Stern blush
Is that was “suddenly” changed the count differnce to 1294?
latest update -Juneau started counting at 1 p.m. and we should be getting its results soon. Fairbanks will start counting at 3 p.m.

for reference, before AB counting began today:
Miller 47,027 votes to
Murkowski 45,359
current totals:
Miller 49888 50.66%
Murkowski, 48594
today’s vote:
Miller 2861
Murk 3235 53%
only 6000 counted, but Murk not doing well enough to pull it off.
aphid!
Is that the bombshell that Joe Miller’s campaign filed against?
OR is this another one?
Your math is a little off

I don’t know.
It’s still early in the day in Alaska.
I did the math on the 810 count . It’s 60% Lisa (488 for Lisa ,322 for Joe)
Votes from South Anchorage just helped Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski narrow Joe Millers lead to 1,294 votes with about half of todays count of absentee and questioned ballots done.
Miller started off the day with a 1,668 vote lead.
The Alaska Division of Elections plans to count about 14,000 votes today. There will be at least 11,000 more additional ones to process for additional counts scheduled for Friday and for Sept. 8.
Were done with the Anchorage count for today, although Anchorage questioned ballots (at least about 3,000) and a small number of Anchorage absentees remain to be counted on a later day. Most the Mat-Su absentees have also been counted as part of todays tally, although there an additional at least 1,200 questioned ballots from Mat-Su to be counted on a later day.
Juneau started counting at 1 p.m. and we should be getting its results soon. Fairbanks will start counting at 3 p.m.
Just happened.
Let me guess. 495 ballots were for Murkowski and the overall votes amounted to 110% of registered voters.
this is why all electronic ballots are a very bad idea.
We’ll have to wait for the report. That’s all I have for now.
The most recent absentees counted - the 13:15:21 results - were from South Anchorage.
60% for Lisa seems pretty good for her, totally unexpected and not in pattern with what happened last Tuesday.
