“MSM wants to be able to charaterize this as a defeat for Palin. That is the extent of their interest.”
Exactly; they want to tie everything to Sarah. Man, are they in for a surprise! Miller is winning and will win, hands down!

Anchorage, Alaska. August 31, 2010 The Joe Miller for U.S. Senate campaign applauded the decision by Alaska Lt. Gov. Craig Campbell to post assistant attorneys general at the ballot counting rooms following the revelation that a Murkowski observer wrongfully accessed a Division of Elections computer on August 27, 2010 for 10 minutes before being ordered off by an election official.
Also, Ace notes, Pence has a staffer on the ground helping out the Miller campaign. I said he was running when I ran into him at CPAC. He was definitely working the room. Hmm. Interesting.

Thank you!
Update #4: Here's why you shouldn't be too worried about Murkowski outperforming her election day performance among absentee ballots in the Mat-Su Valley: there were actually more absentees coming from the Mat-Su Valley than there were from nine house districts in Anchorage. So Miller can afford an underperformance among the absentees in one his strongholds because it appears that much of the absentee vote is coming from his election day strongholds.

I just got on comp, been on weather hold, waiting on plane for ride to Fairbanks from our community along the Upper Yukon; our road washed out in July, still not passable.
I heard Joe Miller headed up to Fairbanks from Anchorage today. Maybe there will be somewhat of a victory this evening???? I'm going to head over to his Fairbanks Election Center if I get in there early enough.

If Pence runs it’ll likely be one of those runs to position him as a VP candidate for the picking. And helping out in AK is a good way to distinguish himself with one potential candidate for whom he could be a good ticket balancer.

I would say immaturity is a big issue on this forum more than anything, we seem to have a growing minority of critical thinkers and more and more knee-jerk reactors... JMHO.
