Seeing things like this gives me hope that we can still take our country back.
[Hey, Rush could have organized something like this.
But he didnt.]
I’ve thought about that. I wonder why.
I lived in DC for many years and attended many events on the Mall. From the various views I have seen the crowd has to be in excess of 500.000.
Father Lord, open the ears of the dumb, deaf and the eyes of those to blind to see what is happening to our Beloved Country, in JESUS’s name, amen.
I was listening to Alveda King’s talking to Beck yesterday and this is what she suggested. It’s been awhile since I’ve read that particular verse. So I had to go and read it again. :)
Will they get fined for exceeding that?
Have you HEARD Beck say anything REMOTELY like: “we need to hold hands with Obama and sing Kumbaya”????
Have you?
No. Of course you haven’t.
My first thought was of the Shinjuku, Japan train / metro station with the “pushers” to squeeze the maximum number into each car. We had that experience and learned to avoid rush hours. Other than that, we only have experience with the uncrowded Bangkok systems. The joys of living in a small town.
Heeeeeeeeeeeey!
Right you are! Kinda tough nowadays.
Where have you been? Hope you and the kiddies are doing great.
Nice hearing from you!
Everyone has a different calling. Some people become complacent, content with an accomplishment, some march on.
Yeah...O’Reilly’s bout out of his mind with jealousy.
O’Reilly’s method was to try and align himself with Beck, as a kind of Beck partner.
Then he’d have Beck on his show and you could feel the tension between the two. They had a couple of events together but they’re nowhere near any sort of cohesive pair.
Again, my speculation, but I think O’Reilly’s reaching a point on Fox where his eight pm slot is under threat. And I think Beck is his biggest threat as the eight slot is watched by way more than Beck’s five time slot.
O’Reilly needs to jump on the Pop bandwagon to get some attention, witness the recent Aniston flap.
O’Reilly’s going to be history soon and he don’t like it.
If Obama accepts the Lord, truly repents and has a humble and contrite heart, I’ll sing Kuymbaya with him.
That doesn’t mean that I will stop actively trying to get him out of office but I like singing.
Rush is to shy to do something like this. He didn't even like having his own TV show.
HEY DRUDGE - time to update you site. (I even emailed him)
Because if it didn’t pan out and the crowds were smaller it would hurt him. he had nothing to gain by doing something like this and everything to lose.
Beck has stones of granite to set this up and take the responsibility as he has. Only a man who believes 100% in what he is doing would even think about it.
I must admit that I had lost faith in America this past year. I traveled to DC on three separate occasions and those in power ignored us, I was disgusted. That is why I didn't attend today.
I will be there in 9-12-10! I feel renewed!
lol, good one.
The DC Metro/transit system handles up to 1,000,000 on a regular basis. Of course you may have to walk a little and wait a while, so don’t come if you are 85 and in a walker.
