10:22 a.m. - Several hundred people gathered at Dunbar High School as a band sung Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On” at a rally that Rev. Al Sharpton is calling the “Reclaim the Dream” march.”

This was Sharpton’s comment on C-Span about his rally versus Beck’s:
“If anything, I think he’s holding a counter-rally. We’ve done these rallies for many years,” said Sharpton.

They will have speakers at the rally until 1 pm, after which the five-mile march will begin, reducing the chance for a conflict. Radio host Joe Madison says the line at Dunbar High School is still wrapped around the block because of a bottle-neck through the field door. A good portion of the football field and all of the bleachers are filled. The dozens of speakers here each have three minutes on the mic and will touch on everything from ending gun violence and the right of gays and lesbians to voting rights for the District.
We’ll about the only thing Obama didn’t promise was to make the trains run on time...;-)

I’m a bit surprised I’ve not heard anything from this event but I know they will be there on 9/12. They though throwing out the whole racist line with their media lackeys would put an end to this upwelling of true Americanism. It didn’t work and they are pissed.
This is like sticking a red-hot poker on an exposed nerve to them. You can tell it's eating them alive!
The best thing we can all do - is for each and every one of us to pray that their hearts and minds will be touched by the spirit of truth. If enough of us do this - it will make a difference.
