Thank you for these links, Starwise! Between C-span and here hopefully I won’t miss anything. I’d hoped to go but the last bus leaving nearby was full. I think it was an omen since I don’t think I’d have done very well walking to the mall from the metro-and back. Camping on the mall tonight sounds marvelous! Praying for all those there—too many crazies around! And whatever am I doing up at this hour?????

True story. Al Sharpton walked up the steps to speak at one of our pro-victory rallies at the Washington Monument before someone stopped him and told him the commie ‘antiwar’ rally he was scheduled to speak at was further down the Mall. If I had seen that I would have put him on stage :-)
Hope folks take care. I have a feeling that “commander zero” has called out his brown shirts, you know, his civilian defense force, to make trouble for folks travelling to and from the rally. They know these law abiding folks will be unarmed.

I'm sure Beck will orchestrate a powerful show re-establishing our country's founding in faith (lapsed Catholic 'splaining things here), the need to return to our roots in these tough and dangerous times - all designed to return our nation to one of values and once again an example of good government by and for the people. IMHO. ;-)

Tony LaRussa is his Manager of the St. Louis Cardinals for the last 14 years, he’s the only manager other than Sparky Anderson (Cincinnati Reds & Detroit Tigers) to win World Series Championships in both leagues (Oakland A’s) - 1989 (St. Louis Cardinals - 2006. He’s also the is behind only Connie Mack & John McGraw in managing victories with over 2,500.
I’m sure someone will start a Live Thread in the morning. I’ll be watching on C-SPAN. We did a rally at the Lincoln Memorial in 2003 with our Iraqi friends. Didn’t draw quite the crowd that this rally will.
