Yes, I was there and watched from about 150 feet from the end of the reflecting pool. I chose a space that would be greatly under tree cover for the day.
Everyone was too excited to sleep and spent the night talking and exchanging stories. What a night!
When daylight began to cast a glow on the size and depth of the crowd it was quiet and unbelievable how people had filled every space in the long area. The left side area you see facing the huge screen was opened later.
I thought I saw RS T, red shirt and arms raised in a huge V on the big jumbo screen during the show. ??
