The so-called "backdoor amnesty" for illegal aliens is no longer merely another bad idea from the Obama administration. According to the Houston Chronicle, the Department of Homeland Security is trying to dismiss thousands of deportation cases against "suspected illegal immigrants."
The Chronicle reports the Obama amnesty effort began "about a month ago" in Houston, where the Department of Homeland Security now has five attorneys working full-time on this backdoor amnesty for illegal aliens. The amnesty program is expected to be rolled out nationwide soon.
Senator John Cornyn blasted the Obama amnesty:
"This situation is just another side effect of President Obama's failure to deliver on his campaign promise to make immigration reform a priority in his first year. Until he does, state and local authorities are left with no choice but to pick up the slack for prosecuting and detaining criminal aliens."

An illegal alien is someone who came into this country without permission or a foreign national who stayed in this country without permission.
To Barack Obama an illegal alien does not exist.
From the Houston Chronicle, "Gonzalez said DHS attorneys are conducting the reviews on a case-by-case basis. However, he said they are following general guidelines that allow for the dismissal of cases for defendants who have been in the country for two or more years and have no felony convictions.
In some instances, defendants can have one misdemeanor conviction, but it cannot involve a DWI, family violence or sexual crime, Gonzalez said."
So, sneak into this country, do not get caught for two years, and you are home free, Barack will kiss you on both cheeks and crown you with permission to stay in the United States.
This backdoor amnesty is possibly the most corrupt act by any elected official, a total violation of the oath of office.
This is being done secretly in Houston, no idea where else this is being done.
Just how much more treason are we supposed to endure from Obama?
McCain will support this. I know this is where Obama was going.
To Hussein & fellow democ'Rats illegals are votes.
Every day that I live, Obastard gives me more reason to hate him.
Just today in Murfreesboro, TN, an illegal alien was arrested fro raping an 8 year old.
Illegal aliens are just raping children that Americans won’t.
BO didn’t walk through the front door of our country given his secrecy(more like he slithered in); so he doesn’t care whether others do or not.
“This situation is just another side effect of President Obama’s failure to deliver on his campaign promise to make immigration reform a priority in his first year.

This is not a matter of Obama’s “failure”, it is just that his idea of immigration reform is to make it as easy as possible for illegal aliens to become legal residents. When terms are ill defined such things are apt to happen. Reform means different things to different people.
They’re still deportable aliens and once the bozo is out of office in 2012 the deportations will resume.
We just got to make sure no RINOs get through the primaries.
Probably put a smile on zero's face. I think he's sick that way, it suits his agenda.
Don't be so sure that some of the new breed, Tea Party Republicans arriving to DC in January won't have impeachment on their minds. Whether they can gather enough numbers to force the old guard to push the issue is the only question.
Here's the thing. The People are now pushing the agenda. The Democrats are actually voting and legislating AGAINST a clear tide of opposition from the public, and it's why they're about to lose control of Congress. It's only going to get worse for them, from here on out.
The cat's out of the bag, and there ain't no catching him now. We've come much too far to be placated by a GOP takeover of Congress this Fall.
If they believe that up on Capitol Hill, they've got a major surprise in store for them. Regaining the majority is only the beginning, and they'd better start hearing that right now, or things in this country are going to heat up even more.
Comes a point where citizens begin bypassing their impotent government protectors, and begin protecting themselves against harm.
Right now, it's states attempting that bypass, but I can see that devolving to individuals in the near future. I'm sorry, but that's just human nature. Laws and traditions of civility have their breaking point, and we're mighty close to it now.
The left has made a science out of "ill defining" our entire language. So much so, that clear English has been made to mean the exact opposite of what it says.
Reform means amnesty, as far as Democrats are concerned. Just don't accuse them of that. They'll tell you that turning millions of illegals loose is enforcing the law, while stopping illegals at the border, or deporting them is a violation of our laws and traditions.
I swear, we need to just start deporting liberals and Democrats.
At the rate Bozo is going, he may not last until 2012.
You're right about the deportations. A people can only take so much. There is so much opposition to illegal aliens among the native-born citizen population, that the pressure will force a solution acceptable to the people.
You just can't suppress the will of hundreds of millions of people forever. At some point, it's going to burst, and the political class will go running for cover. It's going to get ugly if they keep defying us the way they're doing.
Oathbreaking bookmark.
Just tonight, I was thinking to myself that I should have begun keeping a log of Obama's transgressions against his oath of office from day one.
Somewhere, there's got to be someone who's done that. The case for impeachment must be a mile high by now.
McCain is a member of the "old guard" I was talking about. Of course he won't support impeaching Obama. It's the "new breed" of Tea Party Republican freshmen who will be most likely to begin talk of impeachment proceedings.
