Gonna give up on catching FR time....gonna post the real time. Much easier, and it affords 6+ extra minutes when the thread is recalcitrant. LOL!

He had surgery Tuesday..

I think I’ve gotten used to working short...when we have full staff it feels like I’m not doing anything.

And you followed through on talking to the father? As we all know, that’s the only solution for some! Others couldn’t care less as the parents aren’t going to do anything anyway!

Aloha Taz! And {{Hugs}} to you.

Yes, I did speak to his father - who is a decent man trying to raise decent kids and for the most part succeeding (even this kid really isn’t doing anything seriously problematic - it’s just that if he’s not pulled up now, it’s likely to get worse and worse).

The boy has been very polite to me on the couple of occasions I’ve seen him since.

A good day, thanks! Did not take the train today - had a midmorning follow-up appointment with the gastroenterologist re the results of the colonoscopy I had last month. It all looks good. Knee is not happy - if it doesn't improve soon, I guess I'll have to go back to the orthopedist.

The snakes and the politicians are biting.

So are spiders, bee’s and cow killers.

THE TORCH IS PASSED.

“Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans - born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage - and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world. Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty.”

President John F. Kennedy

Thanks! It’s taken a lot of work to learn how to do it. It’s still a work in progress = I get ideas and help from others. Right now I’m working on putting in a background. Still don’t know how to do it - but researching it is fun ...
