Many of you probably saw the Facebook photos of this event. This is a great video of the event with music and still shots.
Get the tissues ready.
(I search and didn't see it posted)
No one saluted him, I guess the troops are wising up to who and what bush really is.
And today we learned that the last COMBAT troop crossed the border.
according to Bush’s SOFA agreement.
Bless you, GW. We’ve had our differences, but I still miss you!
That’s it? That’s all you have to contribute? How about a nice word for the troops. You couldn’t even muster that? Pathetic...
What a beautiful First Lady Laura Bush is...just saying
Dear Bush,
You spent you entire Presidency spat on by the scum media and came out clean on the other side. You are one of my greatest heroes, and I wish you and your wife the best. Our country is now in country of those who believe the scum media and communist opponents you stood firmly againsts and I am scared for my family. I believe the resolve you demonstrated in your 8 years will give strength to us to stand against this extremely strange communist liberal enemy, and will come out stronger because of you and because we are Americans.
He’s not the President anymore but I bet you will always be a jerk noob.
Having trouble seeing the screen...real blurry!
To quote Lt. Col Frank Slade in “Scent of a Woman”
“Uh-oh, we got a moron here.”
Thank you for posting. I love it.
Bush was a disappointing POTUS, but I really respect him as a person.
He is indeed a good man.
How lucky we were to have this man as our leader for those years. I do believe he will be considered one of our greatest Presidents.
And what makes a good President....Love of people and country and doing the right thing. Morality is still up there when you wish to rank a President.
God...Thank You
Nice. Wish I could be there to do that on a regular basis to say Thank You to them.
Anyone else notice that President Bush seemed to press something into each hand he shook?
Yes...he gave each one of them a Presidential coin.
How nice of him....thanks.
Nice to see what grace he has even after what he was put through. I also could not help but notice that unlike that self-absorbed celebu-snob Bono who intentionally avoided an embrace when he was in office, the vets had no qualms about showing their respect and appreciation. God bless him.
Thanks very much!
Gonna share it with The Canteen!
;0)
The Bush’s have class, something you are obviously lacking...
