Obama boasts of most 'progressive' political triumphs in decades (Hollywood fundraiser)

President Obama told a Hollywood fundraiser Monday night that he and congressional Democrats have passed the most progressive legislation in decades.

"We have been able to deliver the most progressive legislative agenda -- one that helps working families -- not just in one generation, maybe two, maybe three," Obama said.

That sounds like a really good sound bite for a conservative Congressional candidate's television commercial. ("The most progressive legislative agenda" - unemployment lines - "The most progressive legislative agenda" - government takeover of industry - "The most progressive legislative agenda" - endless lines for medical treatment - "The most progressive legislative agenda" - corruption...etc.)
