Last week on the White House's YouTube channel, they answered a question from the mailbag and showed this:
Date of Birth: 04 Aug 1961
Place of Birth: Hawaii, U.S.A.
So what do you expect the conspiratorial response to this will be? That it's a fake passport? That the U.S. Passport office is in on the conspiracy? That YouTube videos aren't admissible in court, and thus this should simply be ignored and not acknowledged as evidence at all? That there's not an uninterrupted shot of the trip advisor unlocking the safe, taking out the folder, and pulling out and opening the passport, and thus they aren't convinced that the passport seen was actually in the folder?
Or maybe just a mix of all of the above, plus whatever other special pleading they can think of.
If everything is legit and transparent, why spend all the money that has been spent to defend what the AnnointedIdiot could simply have easily ended by just publically revealing all that pertinent information?
That is good evidence that he was born in the US. So why is he spending hundred’s of thousands of dollars on legal fees to fight furnishing a copy of his birth certificate???
That is exactly what mine says... United States of America. Just like TV though... just ‘cause they say so don’t make it so!
Here's the thing. We all knew that.
I'm not American, and even I know that it takes more to become President than just American citizenship. Possession of a passport is not enough. You need to be a natural born citizen.
Where is his long-form B/C?
And what has he just tacitly admitted by displaying this strawman passport?
Must be fake as that looks like a current picture of Obama...not one from his more youthful days.
I do not care one hoot what the passport says.
The comments and actions of Stroker tell me, beyond any doubt that he is NOT one of us.
He may “claim” to be an American, but I do not buy it any more than I believe in the Easter Bunny or the Tooth Fairy.
Its not about being born in the US its about having two parents that were born here
Indeed, his daddy was a British national. This has been a well-known fact at least since his book was published in the 1990s. He mentioned it at the start of his 2004 speech at the Democratic National Convention. No one was ignorant of his Kenyan daddy.
And yet, curiously, even though the fact itself was well-known, and even though the Presidential campaign started in early 2007, no one suggested that the mere fact of having a Kenyan daddy made him ineligible until November 2008.
It's almost as if right as he was elected, people suddenly discovered a novel way to say he was always ineligible, but they'd simply never noticed before. How very odd...
of course ! ‘cause it’s fake fake fake fake
get it into your head people this stuff is total garbage
don’t waste your time on it
Yes, like mine...BUT Mine says see page 27 and has only 28 pages.
If you are a federal employee who may have to travel for official business, you are issued a US gov’t controlled passport. In my husband’s case, he has no access to it unless he has to use it for work.
OH NO, You mean the Easter Bunny.......LOL
Let’s see his canceled/expired passports before the government issued him diplomatic passports. (He probably had one issued to him as a senator too.) I have all my old passports in a drawer here right along with a certified copy of my birth certificate.
Me too.
Yep...thats correct. I have mine laying on my desk.
So after months and months of appeals and refiling by birther lawyers, Obama has a very small legal bill from the lawyers representing him????? Do you have the names of the law firms representing the POTUS at such nice low fees?? Gov Palin legal fees hit 500,000+ just from ethics complaints, and you are saying Obama is hardly spending money on legal fees??? Either way, for 15 bucks he could have avoided the cost of litigation.
Your comment, “And yet, curiously, even though the fact itself was well-known, and even though the Presidential campaign started in early 2007, no one suggested that the mere fact of having a Kenyan daddy made him ineligible until November 2008.” is factually incorrect. Many people raised the issue before November 2008.
World Net Daily asked in June 2008. http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=66787
Your implication that no one cared until after the election is insulting and does a great disservice to the people who were trying to warn the American people about Obama not being eligible.
IF I was President - I could get a passport that I was born on the moon. This proves nothing. The fact that he put this out just proves he is continuing to hide his BC.
It is to Obama’s advantage to get the “Birthers” in a heightened state of agitation just prior to the election. Most independents and Dems associate this issue with weirdos and crackpots. It scares them off from voting Republican and aligning themselves with such a fringe. You’re being played like a fiddle.
If you want a US passport you need is a certificate of live birth, a social security card and/or a state or federal-issued photo ID.
Since the birth certificate enthusiasts specifically do not recognize the White House-proffered Hawaii COLB as legitimate, why would they accept another document premised upon the same COLB?
Moreover, naturalized US citizens who were born in foreign countries also hold US passports. A passport is therefore far less compelling than the original COLB that was a source of controversy in the first place.
