WASHINGTON President Barack Obama will Friday join an evening meal to break the daily fast observed by Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan, the White House said.
The hosting of Iftar will be held in a dining room at the White House, his spokesman said.
Obama participated in a traditional Ramadan meal in September 2009, where he praised Islam as an integral part of the United States.

I know past Presidents have hosted various religions suck up GET MONEY EVENTS. This is not the point.
Bush did not scream separation of Church and State and deny God and Country flyover of taxpayers money like Obama did.
This is taxpayer money in OUR White House.
Bush used taxpayer money on all religious protocol and affairs.
Obama picked his religion only.
Gosh, I’d hate to see a bunch of Islamists getting all testy.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Thirteen months after the U.S.-led military campaign began in Afghanistan and on the eve of a U.N. vote on a tough resolution to disarm Iraq, President Bush is planning to mark the Muslim holy month of Ramadan with Islamic leaders at the White House.
Diplomats and community leaders have been invited to the State Dining Room on Thursday evening to share the traditional Iftaar meal, which ends each day of fasting.
The event is just one of several ways in which the Bush administration will mark Ramadan in an effort to reach out to Muslims in America and throughout the world.

Different day, same stuff, same beast, beast has two heads - democrat and republican head.
I'll bring a side...
It's a shame we have to wish away 2 years of our lives in hopeful anticipation that his reign will end. And THEN, spend most, if not all, of the remainder of our lives trying to clean up the mess he (and his minions) have created.
Can’t find a church to go to in almost two years, but manages to observe Ramadan every year? Hmmm...
Remember the news article before he was elected that the MSM made sure stayed quiet that Obama recited some muslim call to prayer in perfect Arabic?
I am shocked Obama did not give this ramadan message in perfect arabic. (I could only stomache watching a minute of it though...)

Aren’t muslims not supposed to eat with infidels?
ML/NJ
Exactly!
It has never occurred to me to weave bacon.
Maybe we won’t have to wait that long.
Yet.. Obama skips the national prayer breakfast...
News articles has all of his progressives and ACLU and so on advising him to skip the prayer breakfasts because of separation of church and state.
Well said...
I guess each religion holds their noses for the prestige and money from the WH.
Here in the United States, Ramadan is a reminder that Islam has always been part of America and that American Muslims have made extraordinary contributions to our country,” he said.
Name one...
I must have been out on the day this was covered, so just in case it's on the test could someone fill me in to the "extraordinary" contributions that Muslims have made to our country?
I checked Wikipedia and it was no help at all.

Unless you count the Nation of Islam and CAIR as contributions to America.
I hope he chokes on his goat.
