NHGOP Denounces NH Dem Candidate's Palin Death Wish Dem NH House Candidate Wishes Gov. Palin Was On Sen. Stevens’ Fatal Plane Crash

CONCORD – The New Hampshire Republican State Committee today denounced Democrat NH House candidate Keith Halloran’s public death wish for former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. The Party also called on Governor John Lynch and Congressional Candidate Ann McLane Kuster to personally denounce his hateful remarks and call for him to apologize to the Palin family.

In a Facebook post yesterday regarding the tragic plane crash that killed former Alaska Senator Ted Stevens, Halloran wrote, “Just wish Sarah and Levy [sic] were on board." Levi Johnston is the father of Governor Palin’s grandson (RedHampshire, 8/11).

“Mr. Halloran’s outrageous comments are a new low, even by the standards of the New Hampshire Democrat Party," said NHGOP Communications Director Ryan Williams. "His publicly stated death wish for Governor Palin and her family is abhorrent, and has no place in our public discourse. Governor Lynch and Ann McLane Kuster need to immediately denounce Mr. Halloran’s hateful remarks and demand that he personally apologize to the Palin family.”

Mr. Halloran served on the Rindge, NH planning board. He is running as a Democrat for State Representative this year in Cheshire County House District 7. He describes himself as “an active local citizen and supporter of NH Governor John Lynch” (Jaffrey, Rindge, Dublin Democrats Committee website). Mr. Halloran is also a prominent supporter of Second Congressional District Candidate Ann McLane Kuster.

I’m thinking we should put our bets on a paleoconservative like Dr. Ron Paul.

Then you've joined the wrong group.

NH is not the state it was 10 years ago. Every year the flatlanders try to push gun control, a seatbelt law, helmet law, income tax, sales tax, etc. They have also jacked up the tobacco and liquor tax and succeeded in getting smoking prohibitied in restaurants while I was there. The free state project and the Ridley guy are doing good work, but they’re facing a growing mountain of issues that wouldn’t have been imagined even 10 years ago.

Hopefully, he just lost any chance he ever had of becoming a congresscritter. The left’s pathological hatred for Palin is just about the most bizarre display ever witnessed in American politics. They really need to get a grip on their ‘collective’ psychosis.

Asking for an apology is only part of the rules of society. If someone steps on your toe in line at the grocery store, you look them over and normally, that person would say "excuse me" and you forgive them. You don't haul off and slug them in the jaw!

Society has a what has been a historically sucessful process for reconciling insults (both physical, verbal and oral) and that process is seen by the American public as nomral and honorable.

The process is 1) Offense 2) Recognition of offense by both inflictor and reciepent of offense 3) Opportunity for inflictor to apologize 4) Response of reciepent to either accept or reject the apology.

We, those not directly involved in the action, can then see the quality of the character of EACH individual and use that knowledge in future dealings with that individual and the values they say that they hold dear.

In the view of society, asking for and WAITING for an apology does not hurt you or your character. The longer the time interval before the apology (if it EVER takes place), the worse the offender looks in the eyes of society, and in this case, the eyes of the voters of New Hampshire.

A couple years ago an official from the Massachusetts Republican party was on Howie Carr's radio show. He told the story of the Mass GOP having sent out a massive mailing to every registered republican in the state. 35,000 of the mailings came back so they began to investigate. Come to find out 35,000 ( at least ) had moved from the state.

That was a few years ago and I'm certain more conservatives have left my state. I work with the general public and come into contact with such people who tell me they are leaving Massachusetts and are in the process of doing so.

I suspect many are moving to NH but they are also going South. Half of my family just moved down South - never thought I'd see that happen. But at least the state they arrived in has three more Conservative votes to add to the roster.

The Rinos are starting to freak out. They are sitting back and watching the millions of dollars she is accumulating in her campaign chests, and they know she will have the money to take them on toe to toe.

They know she is unbeatable and all they can do is try to destroy her by scurrilous attacks and fake scandal.

The Country Club pubbies do not like Sarah either, she cleaned up GOP politics in Alaska , and implemented a public oriented energy policy for the state, and severed the good ole boy leech politicians from the oil companies. The Country Club Pubbies find her clean up efforts hard to swallow, because THEY KNOW , if she is elected president, she will clean up the national party and make sure that lobbyists will know their place on the right side of the line, bringing the party into line with what the public needs and wants on energy policy, illegal aliens, taxation, health care, cap and trade, and small business. They are diving away from their lobbyists already, cauterizing their fund-raising history where possible, and covering their A$$ES already, while simultaneously trying to keep her in obscurity, like they did with Duncan Hunter and other conservative Republicans in 2007. The fct that they have to cover their butts now is aking the GOP hackers angry, they can't leech any more.

Sarah can win without taking any money from the GOP , not one cent.

Sarah Palin is doing good work, And now the party hacks are starting to wriggle like snakes caught in hot oil. They know their days are numbered. They must join her, ,or head for the hills. Not many CAN join her, she doesn't want their dirt and baggage they bring along, because historically they do not work for the American people. And Sarah has proven in her previous work that she knows how to separate Shite fro Shinola.

An hour ago I asked Mr Halloran a question via Facebook message:

"Do you still stand by your death wish to the Palins?"

His response a few minutes ago:

"Sorry ... I hear the Tea Pot boiling over again ..."

” I lived in NH for 5 years and loved it, but it’s not the same place that I knew. Too many massholes moved up north to get away from the hell they had created only to try and recreate it in NH.”

Exactly. 35 years ago Diogenes would have walked NH streets with his lantern, looking for a Democrat.

Can you imagine the cries for lock-up should anyone ever “joke” publicly about certain leftists in that manner? Not that we would, of course.

Of course we wouldn't. We WANT the leftists to live long, and spew their venom as widely as possible, so that everybody can see them for what they are.

To steal a line from Vin Diesel, "it ain't us they got to worry about now."

Great opportunity for a campaign ad, IMHO. I hope they keep pushing this, because it illustrates an appalling lack of humanity. No one who would say this deserves to be in government.

“Sarah can win without taking any money from the GOP , not one cent.”

I doubt it. I like Sarah and admire her courage and honesty and I think she’s highly underrated by the MSM, but I’m not sure she can beat Obama in 2012. That’s not because of her policy positions or anything she did as governor of Alaska, but simply because in the minds of many voters she doesn’t look or talk like anyone who’s ever been a President or a Prime Minister of a western democracy. She looks too young and pretty, which is fine if you’re running for the US senate, but the problem is that voters have the image of Margaret Thatcher or Golda Meir in their minds as what a female commander-in-chief looks like.

I wouldn’t suggest that she change her appearance, but she can change the way she speaks and improve her knowledge of all the issues and she’s got to do that if she wants to win the nomination and beat Obama. I haven’t listened to her speak that much, but I did listen to a speech she made at a Tea Party event and I’d have to describe her style as half way between a beauty pageant contestant and Margaret Thatcher. She needs to move farther towards the serious Maggie style to win the Presidency. She’s too informal, and too folksy and bubbly, which is great if you’re running for congress but it makes people question if she has a strong enough, serious enough mind to deal with a serious national security crisis.

She also needs to study up on all the issues as much as possible and be able to answer questions and speak knowledgeably especially about foreign policy and national security issues. She has to develop a more serious, knowledgeable, presidential speaking style, otherwise she could lose just because she doesn’t look or speak like a president or a prime minister. If she runs and wins the nomination, she’s going to need all the support and money she can get from the GOP because even with a weak economy Obama will not be easy to beat. Obama has a strong speaking style. His substance and what he actually does as president is awful but he has a good style and he’s an expert con-man who might be able to fool the voters twice. Any GOP candidate will need all the support and funding he or she can get from the national party. We can beat Obama with a united effort but the Tea Party by itself is unlikely to beat him.

All you have said would be true if it were politics as ususal. Look at wahts now occupying the White House! You talk as if Obama was a legitimate president, He is not. Do you think that the "normative rules" for "GOP " candidates apply? LOL. They definitely do not. What did those rules get us? John McCain. Its not happening any longer.

Sarah is going to win big, and she won't have to "package" herself at all, the American people like her just the way she is.Its strange that you may not have noticed. Her book tours alone prove that as a fact. Its not conjecture.

Sarahs only problem is being accepted by the high ranks of the GOP.They think they can make or break her like they can most GOP politicians. I believe they are wrong on that score and despite Sarahs diplomatic overtures to them, do you think she really gives a damn? She will take the nomination with or without the builder burghers of the GOP party. And that is what they do not like about Sarah Palin. That is the only true obstacle she has, and the GOP had better get with the people of America, or get ready to disappear into history, if they play any more songs and dances like they did in 2006/2007. They definitely did all they could not to field their best candidate, and look what it got us..a nationalist socialist movement in power. That is just irresponsible, and America knows it.

The GOP mandarin blue blood elitists either make room for Sarah, or they go out the hard way.Thats all there is to it.
