Tropical Depression #5 has formed in the southeast Gulf of Mexico. The initial motion is somewhat uncertain due to the broad area of the system center.

I would sure welcome some rain, but I’m afraid that as we’re on the dry side and landfall is projected just too far east, that we won’t get any from this one.
