A member of Congress from California says there's no need for the president to be born in the United States or to have two parents who are United States citizens to be a "natural born citizen" and be eligible to be president.
And U.S. Rep. Brian Bilbray, R-Calif., told WND today that he believes President Obama, who's been named as a defendant in multiple legal and other challenges claiming he is not eligible to be president, is enjoying the dispute over his background.
Further, Bilbray said the document that Obama critics should be hunting for is the passport he used when he traveled to Indonesia and other places early in his life.
The controversy over Bilbray's comments developed when a Youtube video was posted. In the video, of a television interview on "The Ed Show," Bilbray said, "It's just like people thinking that you gotta be born in the United States to be president. You don't have to be. That's a legend. We got to clarify that."

I wonder how much Obama would enjoy it if his birth certificate came to light and we all found out he was really adopted...the illigitimate offspring of his “grandfather” Stanley Dunham and a black prostitute from Hotel street in Honolulu. Maybe this would make Barack smile letting everyone in on why everyone looks at Barack and his “grandfather” and say how much they look alike. I didn’t come up with this theory but believe it makes more sense than Barack Obama Sr.(who looked like Louis Armstrong) fathered a baby that doesn’t look anything like him. In Obama’s book “Dreams from my Father” he recalled when he was young how he like to go down to a bar on Hotel Street and have a coke and his “grandpa” had a drink. Why would he take Barack there? Probably so Barack’s real mother could see him? Are you laughing still Barack?
Ping!
Last guy who looked into the passport ended up being prosecuted. Then dead.
Which is front page news but was totally ignored by the MSM.
Murder of Mr. Lieutenant Quarles Harris, Jr.
In this case, Lieutenant does not indicate a rank in the police, military, or any other organization. Lieutenant was his given name.

And this matter has never been thoroughly investigated. Could it have something to do with the owner of one of the contract companies whose employees were involved with this passport records break-in is now one of Obama's counter terrorism advisers?
Yep, he is enjoying it so much he can't even trust the local LEOs of Chicago. Look closely FRiends, very closely. That's enjoyment? THATS PARANOIA!!!!

The dunces in the Demo ding dong party think they can win with this LOL! They are idiots to the 10th degree. All they are going to do is highlight the issue that Barack Obama is not a natural born citizen.
IQ 110. It’s the only “inside” fact I have about the man. Came to me from someone who is a believable source.
The person just has to be a citizen at birth. For example, a child born of a single US citizen mother, and foreign father, born abroad inherits his mother's citizenship, making him a natural born citizen and eligible for president.
Farah, as usual, shows his immense stupidity.
Who, Lieutenant Quarles Harrris? Hardly an intrepid investigator. First off, "Lieutenant" wasn't his rank. It was his name. He was a DC gangbanger who got pulled over by the cops. Searching his car, they found pot, 21 credit cards, all under different names, and eight State Department passport application printouts, four of which matched names on the credit cards. He admitted that he was part of a credit card fraud ring that had a contact inside the private contractor that does the processing for the the State Department. He agreed to testify, but suffered the fate of many inner city residents who don't maintain the "don't snitch" ethos.
Many Americans here at FR are curious as to why you spread anti-American lies.
Bilbray sounds like he’s a few fries short of a Happy Meal.
I nominate that paragraph the stupidest thing ever posted on FR. Than includes Tub Girl pics. Shut up.
Not according to a framer of the Constitution.

Bingham states: I find no fault with the introductory clause [S 61 Bill],
which is simply declaratory of what is written in the Constitution, that every human being born within the
jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language
of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen
. . John Bingham, framer of the 14 amendment in the United States House on March 9, 1866
Charles Pinckney
Signer of the United States Constitution, Governor of South
Carolina. Senator and a member of the House of Representatives.
Therefore, we can say with confidence that a natural-born
citizen of the United States means those persons born whose father the United States already has an established
jurisdiction over, i.e., born to fathers who are
themselves citizens of the United States.
(I have more if you would like.)
"The person just has to be a citizen at birth. For example, a child born of a single US citizen mother, and
foreign father, born abroad inherits his mother's
citizenship, making him a natural born citizen and eligible for president."
Not so.
1952 The Immigration and Nationality Act of June 27, 1952, 66 Stat. 163, 235, 8 U.S. Code Section 1401 (b).
"Section 301. (a) The following shall be nationals and citizens of the United States at birth:
"(1) a person born in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof;
"(7) a person born outside the geographical limits of the United States and its outlying possessions of parents one
of whom is an alien, and the other a citizen of the United States, who prior to the birth of such person, was
physically present in the United States or its outlying possessions for a period or periods totaling not less than
ten years, at least five of which were after attaining the age of fourteen years.
Since Ms. Dunham was only 18 at the time that means she Does NOT transfer citizenship to Mr. Obama.

"Farah, as usual, shows his immense stupidity."
Or perhaps you are unaware of the facts because you are wrong on both counts.
Brian will go far in this Obama administration. Just say Obama is a legitimate president and Bin Laden is still alive and has to be stopped.
The idiot Repubicans didn’t have a problem with them vetting McCain about his eligibility. This is so typical of the horse..it we put up with from Democrats. Look at this man! This is what the American people voted into the highest office in the land and yet we don’t even know where he comes from. Our justice system is totally corrupt...shame on you Supreme Court for what you have
allowed to go on since BEFORE the election.
With that comment you just dropped your IQ lower than Obama’s approval rating. Keep it up — or down — if you so choose.
