During this year the Tea Party Express has helped boost a lot of conservative constitutionalists in key races across the country.
Thanks to your support that looks to be happening once again. One month ago polls showed Liberal RINO, Sen. Lisa Murkowski, with a lead of 32-points over her conservative challenger, tea party hero Joe Miller.
This past weekend we learned of a new poll of 1,223 Alaska voters that showed Joe Miller has now jumped 23-points, and now trails Sen. Murkowski by only 9%.....

9% behind is not a win....miles to go....
My beeber is stuned.
Nope. He will probably catch her.
And the name of the organization that runs the poll?
Any info about what this poll was?
Looking into it (asking the Miller campaign directly, too). I’ll post if I get info.
Ping
This is excellent news.
I assume Palin is backing Miller as I don’t think there’s any love lost between her and Murkowski.
Just saw a poll yesterday that had Kinzinger ahead of Halvorson, 50-42. That race is considered toss-up, but is moving in the right direction.
Make that Kinzinger poll 51-40 - double digits.
Yeah Sarah Palin endorsed Miller a while back. Todd a couple months before her.
Kinzinger and Hultgren I expect to win and my own rating for both is lean R. (they need some cash though) So worst case in IL I think will be +1 net (if Dold doesn’t “hold” Kirk’s seat). Best case +4 if Hare and Bean lose as well.
(best best case would include Joel Pollack pulling the huge upset in CD 9)
The IL-09 is a pipe dream. You know how the IL-17 is surprisingly competitive for us and is looking like a pick-up? Well, that’s a Democrat district that is conservative enough to have given President Bush 48% in 2004, and its incumbent is a stupid, unpolished party hack in Phil Hare. The IL-09, on the other hand, has the always-prepared professional campaigner Jan Schakowskyl, and the best that President Bush could do in that district was 32%. If Schilling can hold the Bush vote and get 2% extra from Kerry voters, he’ll beat Hare; if Pollack can hold the Bush vote and get 2% extra from Kerry voters he’ll lose by almost 2:1.
Yes, but he is showing a very impressive surge; he has momentum. . . .
. . .. ..and . . .. ....
I spent 20 undisturbed minutes with him recently, and he is a real one. . . .. everything his website claims him to be.
I hope and pray Joe Miller is elected.

I know I’d be 10 times as surprised as I was from Cao’s victory if we took the 9th but we Chi City Republicans need our pipe dreams. They’re all we’ve got. ;d
LOL. But may I suggest a different pipe dream for you: the IL-05, which is actually within the city limits (unlike the 9th) and which is a bit less unwinnable.
Plenty of the 9th is in the City (population wise at least).
The reason the 9th is getting attention is that people are impressed with our candidate Joel Pollack. Coupled with the scarcely reported (and probably unknown to most voters) problems Janice S has been having.
Our candidate in the 5th hasn’t gotten the buzz (but one person I know who saw him speak in person was impressed) is disliked by many here for defeating freeper Chicagolady in the primary.
Looking at recent Presidential results our strength in the 5th has eroded to the point it’s hardly better for us than the 9th. I believe HW Bush carried the 5th under it’s 80’s lines. McCain got 26% in both districts in 2008. Bush did slightly better in the 5th both times.
I believe the 2 seats split the 41st Ward (the only one with a GOP alderman)
The ultimate pipe dream for me is my own 4th CD. I’d have to actually get a pipe for that one.
Lets see, first Luis is caught on a hidden camera with an male prostitute, a millionaire Green enters the race, there’s a Republican with a Spanish surname an an early snowstorm on election day.....probably still wouldn’t do it. ;d
I beleive I heard Miller on Mark Levin and he sounded rock sollid and just needs the media exposure to the citizenry to make a big impact. He came across as top timber.
