This thread should be re-titled,

Ballistic Twinkie Explodes In Flight!!!!!

Just sayin'.

"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

The news article states that he was arrested while in a sexual embrace with his partner. That is newspeak for gay sex. Can you imagine the poor cops who had to arrest this creep? I hope they had the rubber gloves on.

Has anybody considered that this incident might merely be a calculated pre-planned publicity stunt initiated by the flight attendant to get his "fifteen minutes of fame"?

Look for this guy to be all over the TV tabloid shows over the next few weeks, might even get a bit part in some lame sitcom.

Agree 100%. Points for style. I heard this story on the radio on the way home and I couldn’t help but enjoy the image of him making his exit via the ramp. Apparently he also grabbed some beer out of the galley on his way out.

I feel sorry for this guy. I don’t care if he is gay or straight - it sounds like he was trying to do his job. The passenger was wrong. I have seen some of the scum, nasty people and vermin flying Jet Blue’s NYC run. I would bet 90% of the people who fly that run are libs and Obama voters.

I was in a Jet Blue concourse a month ago waiting for my American flight. You could just tell the Jet Blue NYC flight was filled with nasty libs.

Contrast with a JB flight I took to Charlotte where the passengers were pleasant.

I try to be nice to all the flight crewws because it is a crappy job. The pilot has the best gig and they have huge responsibilities. The whole “going to the airport” routine sucks anymore for passengers and the crew. Spending nights in 2 1/2 star hotels to fly out the next day at 6 am. People always pissed off and nasty.

Are you serious? Forget I was defending him. Eww. Did the cops knock on the door or just break in.

Being a service industry worker for a while, I understand where the guy is coming from. People have this sense of entitlement and a “do you know who I am” attitude. The FA should not have reacted like that but I can understand—he snapped. They need to arrest the passenger too for interfering with a flight crew. As for the guy being gay i think it is irrelevant to the story, but I feel for the guy as I have wanted to tell this to jerk customers for years.

I'm guessing they opened the door and walked in because how would they find the guy having gay sex if he opened the door? Ugh I don't even want to think of any of this, the thought of this is making my stomach churn.

But can anyone believe how low the media is to call gay sex a "sexual embrace with his partner"?

These people are completely demented.

His MySpace page, packed with photos of Slater posing in his JetBlue uniform, says he beat "alcoholism and substance abuse."

It looks like alcoholism has taken the game into extra innings.

I feel bad for the stews and pilots. No fun. Tons of responsibility and passengers are all pissed off because Islam requires us to be searched by the TSA gestapo.
The story of this attendant losing it has been posted here in FR many times. I have read several of the strings of comments following those postings.

Without a doubt, your comment best sums up the general situation of air travel today.

Excellent, excellent post. You deserve an award.

I bet most of us would not last a day. 28 years. Poor guy.

You must have missed the part of the article that explained that the guy was 38 years old, and he had actually been a flight attendant for 20 years, not 28.

He should have reported the guy and had him arrested when the plane docked

When the plane is moving and you pull something out of the overhead bin you can stumble and drop it on abother passenger.

The passenger was 100% wrong. I am NOT saying I disagree with the attendant- i would have applauded him

Those o’lib voters are pretty easy to pick out. When I come home from Dulles to Ft Lauderdale, I take the Sun am “cruise” flight. Its full, but usually everyone is in a good mood.

The last time there was a “hope and change” t-shirt wearing, 50ish matriarch rudely attempting to rearrange a full flight so that her party of 15 could sit together. An FA intervened and told her that she would help her. When the FA asked me if I would move, I said I would prefer to keep the seat I selected. The look in her eyes was priceless, it was as if she was telling me thank you for standing up to this bi&*^. She looked at me and then at the overbearing woman and said “the lady doesn’t want to move and we cannot force her”.

This woman kept it up for 20 minutes going back and forth to her party and other passengers. The captain asked everyone to take their seats politely twice and then finally had to become forceful before the woman would give it up and sit the heck down. If the FA had punched her in the face I think everyone on that plane would have sworn the woman tripped and broke her nose in the fall.

I feel sorry for the poor guy in this story. Everyone has a moment when manners and civility are stretched to the point of snapping.
