While many Americans are cutting back on their vacation plans or eliminating them altogether, Barack Obama is setting an aspirational example for all of us. Sure, times are tough, but perhaps we can enjoy a life of leisure vicariously through our betters.
On July 16-18, the Obamas enjoyed their first summer vacation in beautiful Bar Harbor, Maine. The idyllic town has long been favorite summer getaway for the rich and powerful going back to the Gilded Age. Truly a resort fit for a king public servant.
Anticipating exhaustion from two long weeks in Washington, D.C., Michelle Obama is hosting her eldest daughter and several family friends on a "private vacation" to Spain, August 4-8. Staying at the luxurious Villa Padierna...

I hope Obama takes a 2-year vacation.
Don’t forget Michelle, daughters and mom took a little vacay in Malibu earlier this summer, just in time for glamorous box seats at the Lakers playoff game.
And while Obama and his family have been vacationing on the taxpayers’ dime, the company I work for has eliminated 200+ nursing positions (home health co)thanks to the Medicare cuts coming in Jan and upcoming Obamacare cuts. That’s 200 Registered Nurses who will be getting an extended vacation in the very near future. I am lucky because I was not one of the ones to lose my position but with the decrease in staff, the very idea of vacation is out of the window for a while. Everytime I see him I just want to vomit.
I HOPE this situation CHANGEs in November.

Plus, primo box seats at the Lakers/ Celtics game , VIP treatment at Warner Brothers Studios and a Disney park.

That's easy, have a front man, in this case the communist terrorist, Bill Ayers, write a couple of books for you, take credit, reap millions in book sales. While you're at it cozy up to the crooked politicians friend, Tony Rezco who will secretly work shady deals for you so you can but a million dollar mansion in Chicago. And then for a hat trick make sure you pony up to some Middle Eastern Billionaire Sheiks that are willing to pay for your education, world travel and I'm sure many, many other perks just so long as you remain subservient to and at all times promote the interests of Islam over the once Christian nation formerly known as The United States.

Vacations & golf. Hey, Rome is burning - why not get in a few rounds and take some time off. You can see his golf schedule up to mid July at doodooeconomics. We call it the, Will Not Rest golf schedule. For a guy who says he Will Not Rest until [insert cause De jour]...he sure plays a lot of golf.
