Former USDA official Shirley Sherrod, who claims she was falsely smeared as a racist while she herself falsely smears Republicans and Fox News as racists, said this morning that she would like to see BigGovernment.com, the website that made her famous, shut down for the good of the country.
CNN's American Morning reported on Sherrod's demand:
She said if Breitbart's site were shut down, "That would be a great thing, because I don't see how that advances us in this country ... at a time when we should be trying to look at how we can make space for all of us in this country, so that we can all live and work together, he's doing more to divide us."
Sherrod also told CNN she is considering suing Andrew Breitbart, the owner of Big Government:
"I really think I should. You know, I don't know a lot about the legal profession, but that's one person I'd like to get back at. Because he came at me. You know, he didn't go after the NAACP. He came at me."
Yesterday, in an interview with the Democrat front group Media Matters, Sherrod smeared Fox News as wanting to take blacks back to the Jim Crow era:
... they would love to take us back to where we were many years ago. Back to where black people were looking down, not looking white folks in the face, not being able to compete for a job out there and not be a whole person."
In the same speech given in March to the NAACP that initially got Sherrod fired by the Obama administration, Sherrod smeared Republicans as racists for opposing Barack Obama's government takeover of healthcare:
"Some of the racism we thought was buried, didn't it surface? Now we endured eight years of the Bushes, and we didn't do the stuff these Republicans are doing because you have a black president."
Sherrod is being annointed as a saint by the media for her claim to have overcome her own racism. She is even being compared to Nelson Mandela. Yet to this day she speaks in starkly racist terms of "my people" and "his own kind" while flinging the race card as skillfully as Jesse Jackson at her perceived political opponents.
She also has revealed a leftist totalitarian streak. It's no wonder the communists from ANSWER and Code Pink were out supporting her yesterday:

abc news-less is now demanding Breitbart apologze to the knuckle dragging commie racist b!tch... they have opened a can of worms that will bring down this entire propaganda exercise that was started by obama’s ministry of lies (state run media).

Agreed. Most of his segment (with the timeline and pointing out the absurdity of blaming Fox News and Brietbart, etc.) was spot on, but he jumped the shark with all that pleading about her so called "pivot point" blah blah blah. Yes, she made a pivot from guiding her official actions solely on reparational racism to a complete embrace of marxism. He ruined his segment by going off onto that. The real key that he mentioned and I have been wondering about since the start, exactly who pointed Breitbart to the video back in early April, a few days after it was recorded in late March?
All of this is just one piece of a plan that is building: dangerously reactionary elements of media (Internet & Fox News), racism in their reporting, destructive toward "innocent victims" and society overall, "snookering" the NAACP, scaring public officials into hasty actions, etc.; which all leads to the neat little conclusion: they need to be CONTROLLED or SHUT DOWN.

Read well, folks. What she is saying is what the liberals in this country are THINKING, but have the kernel of sense not to say aloud, because that would give them away.

I went to the site, and what I find really interesting is some of the comments by people pooh-poohing that link.
More than a few comments are like this:
"...So because Sherrod’s husband was in SNCC, and Bill Ayers also was in SNCC, there is some sort of nefarious implication? Do you guys even know what SNCC was???"
"...Breaking news, Shirley Sherrod is within 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon..."
And so on. I find it both amusing and disturbing that liberals don't think that there is any link between the company one keeps, and the behavior one exhibits.
My, that WOULD be so judgemental and prejudicial, don't you think?
Most GOOD parents understand this concept, which is why they occasionally tell their children they can't hang around with some kid or group. Their kids usually dislike that.
A lot of Liberals would never dream of imposing their values on their children like that...it would be so...prejudicial and judgemental!
As adults, we all understand that if you know someone, and they hang around with unsavory people...then they are quite likely unsavory themselves. Liberals are not adults, so they have a hard time getting their head around this concept.
Personally, I am APPALLED that we have someone occupying the Oval Office who is a disciple of the Marxist Saul Alinsky.
I am DISGUSTED that he is good friends and has worked with an avowed terrorist who belonged to a group that discussed the murder of millions of Americans because they knew they wouldn't be able to indoctrinate them.
I am REVOLTED by the fact that he is good friends with a woman who thought it was a wonderful thing that a brutally slain pregnant woman had a fork stuck into the abodmen of the corpse while the killers ate a meal next to the bodies.
So...this woman Sherrod MARRIED someone who was bedfellows with the people described above, and there is nothing wrong? That MIGHT be okay if these people had renounced their activities, but there was nothing of that sort that ever came from them. To the contrary, they wear their affiliations and former activities like a badge of honor, and the despicable left TREATS them as if they were badges of honor.
HOW did we ever get to this point?
One word: Liberalism.

I’ve hearfd the words,”reverse racism,” and reverse discrimination” too muc this lasyt week. Racism is racism no matter what culture or skin color, discrimination crosses all boundaries especially religious boundries...it’s a bunk bundle of words, call a spade a spade, it’s all racism NO MATTER skin color, culture or religion, namely Islamic cults.

Otherwise- you appear to be another affirmative action hiring who was under the radar for a great number of years.
