Really? A showdown? From who? The lazy Americans who can’t even get off their butt long enough to carry a protest sign? Let alone start a revolution.

HA - give me a break. It is over. Turn the lights out. If you can get a few freepers to post their anger on a blog site made for the hard right then you are doing more than 90% of America will ever do.

Give it up - there is not going to be a so called showdown - there is not going to be any revolution. Fat, lazy Americans could care less.

The gimme gimme gimme generation is here to stay. Our America that we once knew and were once so proud of - gone. Gone.

Prove me wrong - I have said it before - prove me wrong. Nothing is going to change.

Welcome to your new America

I can totally relate to your frustration. However, what about US, me and you, get off our lazy butts and get the party started? Why not? A journey of a thousand miles starts with one step. Where do you live? I’m in IL. Let’s get groups together from our respective states and picket outside the news stations. Or something!

I understand your scepticism, and I share it. November 2, 2010 is our LAST CHANCE to restore our Liberty without firing a shot. IF this election DOESN’T turn things around, I fear it won’t take long for those fat Americans to become lean and take up arms. I hope and pray the election does the trick.

You insult the hundreds of thousands of patriotic Americans who went to D.C. for the health care rally.

There are people out in the streets and attending town hall meetings all across America.

You owe an apology! Big time!!!

We will soon find out if you're right. If this midterm does not give control of the House and Senate to (R), then I truly will feel ashamed of my country.

You remind of the “Better Red than Dead” crowd in the ‘70s. It’s never over ‘till it’s over, my friend. Unless you’re a Marxist lurker there’s lots happening to counter the Usurper Onada’s regime.

This isn’t directed at anyone personally, but just a general comment....

So, everyone, raise your hand if you started a media outlet yourself. We all complain about the MSM, but am I one of the few with his arm getting tired?

Marching on DC is good. Fighting the political battles with DC is good. But how many people are actually focusing on the ways we are being defeated...the training grounds of schools, the news media, and the entertainment media?

We can fight the symptoms in DC, but the actual cause—if we truly believe that power is derived from the consent of the governed—is The People. And we are being distracted from educating our fellow citizens.

kelly4c, you have the right idea in calling out the MSM—but let’s remember that the Left is the group that’s into tearing things down...how about we focus on *creating* things that are alternatives? Protesting is fine—and I do it—but far better is when we can create something good that outcompetes what the Left has.

And no post like this can be made without a big “Thank you!” to Jim, someone who took action and created an alternative gathering spot for conservatives who were interested in the news of the day.

Do you think Obama’s poll numbers and the numbers for his agenda would be where they are if people weren’t getting informed. If all Americans did was watch and accept what the nets and CNN and MSNBC and the Times and WaPo had to say we’d be awaiting the final state’s yes vote to repeal the XXII amendment. The effects of the web and Fox and Talk Radio have opened the floodgates on information and people, way beyond the arbitron numbers, have used it to inform themselves of this regimes perfidy. And let it be a lesson to our side when we regain our country, thatthe people’s interests must be respected and they must be told the truth.

"Give it up."? No thanks. I'm not interested in joining quitters like you. I'll stick with my patriot brothers and sisters who are still willing to stand and fight, and who still believe in America, if you don't mind.

By advocating the "America is finished" line of thinking, you're actually aiding and abetting the enemy. I hope you know that. It's treason.

If this were my website, you'd be banned for saying what you just did.
