The Serious Tracking of Americans Begins
Economic Policy Journal ^ | 07/16/2010 | Economic Policy Journal

They have passed the health bill, they have passed the financial regulations bill and they have snuck stuff into the stimulus package bills. They are going to track your money and your body. Here's the first few things they are doing. This is step one. It will only get worse from here.

According numismaster.com:

...the Health Care Bill mandates, according to Numismaster.com, Starting on January 1st in 2012, S federal law will require coin and bullion dealers to report to the Internal Revenue Service all gold and silver coin purchases and sales greater than $600. No that is not an error, they tacked the gold coin tracking regulations into the health bill. They are just tacking stuff on wherever they can.

As for your body, you will be required to have an "electronic health record", by 2014. They snuck this into one of the "stimulus" bills. The electronic record will include an obesity rating. The information will be required to be on a "national exchange" with only secure access (Hah!). Why the F does your obesity rating have to be on a national exchange? This is a tip off to how micro-managed they are going to attempt to run your life.

Keep in mind that the health bill and financial "reform" bill are thousands of pages, with much of the details left up to the new agencies to fill in. Obama is appointing major league interventionists to head these agencies. They are completely clueless as to how an economy works. Their regs will be over the top. It will stifle America in so many ways, it is difficult to imagine. I was in East Berlin the year before the Wall came down. I saw what constant monitoring and micro-management did to people. It is not pretty. The gray, the drab, the despair was everywhere. When you can only take orders and wait for approvals and are constantly watched, it saps the life out of you. America is going to be changing and the government is going to try and watch you and monitor your vitals, as if you were a lab rat, as it does the changing.

It is not going to be pretty.

The United States, once a Beacon Light of Freedom for the world, is dead.

It got it's death sentence the day the politicians discovered they could steal a working mans wages and give it to another in exchange for a vote (and get away with it). That's when our liberty was lost.

Oh please. Nothing that has been done so far is irrevocable. Watching the antics of the Marxist children is frustrating. But all of what they’re doing can be undone—if sufficient numbers of genuine conservatives are elected to the House and Senate this November. Focus on that and we will take back America. The “woe is me” thing accomplishes nothing.

By focus I don’t mean sitting in a chair comtemplating you’re navel or lamenting what is happening to your country. Ya gotta get out of the chair and partcipate in Tea Parties, write your Congress Critters, write “letters to the editor”,jawbone your neighbors and actively (as in sending money) directly to genuine conservatives—in what ever state/district they reside. Do not send money to the GOP. They’ll just pass it on to the likes of McCain, Crist and Snowe.

Personally I’d rather carry my health care history on a flash drive or mini CD or summarized on a sheet of paper, and leave the government out of it.

difference between us and the soviets will be the amount and level of the firepower in private hands.

You left out the biggest difference, that of Americans being fiercely independent, which is vastly different than the populations of Europe and especially the old USSR.

The mis-judgement on the liberal’s part is that Americans always give anyone a BIG benefit of the doubt, until it becomes obvious that benefit is misplaced and there are indeed ulterior motives, then we're ready for a fight.

That is not true about the Baltic Republics, they were always fiercely independent. However, when a Communist-sympathizing president, FDR, hands over your countries to the Communists, after the Baltic people had already spent years fighting Hitler and Stalin, there's not much left.

I doubt that we will be able to fight the tanks here either, those who can have already fled, just like they did during and after WWII, and there are too many elderly and infirmed patriots now here. And too few of us in general. And we've had Communists in power for too long now.

Didn't the govt. at one time ban the ownership of gold bullion? And if so, what was the reason behind it?

Could we be seeing the groundwork being laid to once again ban the ownership of gold? If the govt knows who has it, just like firearms registration, they can demand you to turn it in.

Cheers!

Firepower means nothing without Willpower. The difference is having the WILL to do whatever it takes live free - up to and including “the unthinkable”.

We’ll see if Americans still have it - one way or the other - or if we’re “American” in name only. It’s inevitable whenever one side of an issue refuses to accept the dictum of “Live and Let Live”; Libs just don’t and won’t accept the fact that other people have a right to live their lives the way they want to.

None of us want to see it; only the crazy want it to happen - which is why the other side is pushing and pushing the way they are. I truly think they are insane.

Just my take on it.

Excerpt from “Big Pharma nanotechnology encodes pills with tracking data that you swallow”:

And now, with the nano technology mentioned here, Big Pharma could be embedding your body’s tissues with nanoparticle data that turns you into a compliant, monopoly-priced drug consumer whose medication habits can now be scanned right off your skin. That’s what Big Pharma wants, of course: Total control over your body. Combined with targeted lobbying of corrupt Washington lawmakers and bureaucrats, Big Pharma could achieve a “mandatory medication requirement” across the entire country, where every citizen is required to dose themselves with psychiatric drugs, statin drugs or vaccines. Your compliance will be verified with a nanotech scan that reads the nanodata right off your skin, and if you’re found to be non-compliant, you could be arrested and forcibly medicated on the spot.

(snip)

The conspiracy between Big Government and Big Pharma will always try to find a way to make you take more meds (whether you need them or not). This nano-protection technology could play right into their hands, providing an enforcement and tracking technology that would turn your body into a walking Big Pharma storage device.

So, buy a couple hundred bucks worth at a time. Pay cash, spread it around several sources.

“It is not going to be pretty.”

Here’s the advice I’ve been giving people for years:

Buy the best semi-automatic, military-pattern “assault rifle” you can afford.

Extra magazines.

A good scope.

Ammo, ammo, ammo.

Practice.

You might never need to do anything. But if it ever comes to action, it’ll be too late to plan.

“The difference between us and the soviets will be the amount and level of the firepower in private hands.”

That doesn’t mean jack unless there is coordination, organization, and leadership. Where is that coming from?

You will see a lot of government people die.
Everyone one has a “line in the sand”. It differs for everyone. Push a man far enough, leave him with nothing left to lose, and you will see more of the type of incidents where someone the the guy in Austin, Tx. flies a plane into an IRS buiding.

Guns are nothing if the holders lack the balls to use them. What we do when the moment measured in ‘pucker factor’ comes will decide all. Even in the best scenario that line of gun men will be thin.

I read something the other day that reminds me of what you've written here. In part it read, "Decision without action is worthless. Action without decision is dangerous."

I grow weary of hearing people tout the "we're armed" threat. It's WONDERFUL that they're armed! The whole friggin neighborhood can be armed and when the government SRTs show up, a single seven to nine man team will take the entire neighborhood down ONE HOUSE AT A TIME. Will the recipients of such a visit have a collective plan? Probably not. But they all bragged on a blog or discussion forum somewhere that they were "armed". Worse than this, most of them don't know how to disclose such information in a way that precludes them from being tracked to the very place from where they posted such information and so whether they realize it or not, they've already given away a FANTASTIC tactical advantage....which is very, VERY bad OPSEC. Most of them won't know what OPSEC is anyway, much less how to adhere to it, or to apply it to a given situation.

People need to join together. They need to develop a plan that suits their particular anticipated scenarios. They need to practice together. Then they need to alter the previous steps to keep up with a dynamically changing environment.

They either need to do these things, or just STFU. Me and many others are just tired of hearing about it. No disrespect intended to those who ARE DOING IT.

...just my .02 worthless opinion.

“I used to think Obama was going to provoke a clash, but for the very reason that you have cited, I don’t think he will.

Instead, it’s just going to be one little thing at a time, with the government restricting more and more of our choices and putting its tentacles into every formerly private area of our lives - but just a little bit at a time.”

After the SHTF those who now brag about withholding their vote and allowing Zero's presidency will, if smart, shut up. But they aren't smart.

“I grow weary of hearing people tout the “we're armed” threat.”

Subconciously they are hoping the threat will be enough.

It will not be enough.

The “duly constituted holders of authority” KNOW that they can dictate at will and without respect to the pre and proscriptions of the Constitution, and they KNOW police will follow orders without running them thru any constitutional test whatsoever.

We, in this nation, are ALREADY at the point that the ONLY thing that will stop this is lead...we just can't admit it yet.

As far as joining forces:Suggest on FR joining together. You will be derided as a militia nut. It's gonna be interesting to say the least. And I mean in less than two years. This is no long term prediction.

Instead, it’s just going to be one little thing at a time . . .

Quite right.

"The citizens begin by giving up some part of the constitution, and so with greater ease the government changes something else which is a little more important, until they have undermined the whole fabric of the state."
