These are people who played a major role in putting this bum in office. Why should I give consideration to their business acumen when their political acumen is so harmful to America?

what the moguls talked about, while they boozed and golfed and white water rafted and stuffed their faces during the all-expeneses-paid retreat LOL. I take it Joe does not think much of these people.

The opening sentence tells you all you need to know. The MSM ignored the meeting because far too many participants told the TRUTH about Hussein’s agenda to destroy the US economy. And hacks like this writer only covered the event to trash those who exposed Hussein.

.... Google CEO Eric Schmidt, who serves as an adviser to the president on science and technology... After Obama won, Schmidt was a member of President Obama's transition advisory board. He proposed that the easiest way to solve all of the United States' problems at once, at least in domestic policy, is by a stimulus program that rewards renewable energy and, over time, attempts to replace fossil fuels with renewable energy. He has since become a new member of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology PCAST.
How can somebody be so smart and yet so stupid at the same time?

Community Organizing at its best.
The kenyan has summoned his forces, including the MSM, the NBPP, the NAACP, and his biggest weapon of all...michelle.
The "GET OUT THE BLACK VOTE" movement has changed to the "SCARE THE WHITE VOTE INTO STAYING HOME ON ELECTION DAY".
Michelle Mah-bell has been dispatched to fire-up the chia pets in the NAACP about the long-dead and totally unproven premise of racism in the TEA party ranks.
Meanwhile, Breitbart is still offering the $100 grand to anyone who can prove their allegations.
No doubt many ACORN "leftovers" are in full gear, combing the graveyards and sanctuary cities to drum up new voters.
The NBBP and zulu shabazz are beating their chests and donning their favorite G.I. Joe costumes and fruity berets. In a show of bravado, they threaten to kill the oh, so dangerous "cracker babies". Well, Japan thought bombing Pearl Harbor should assure them victory too...but they awakened a sleeping giant. For a repeat performance of that, just start killing our babies.
These thugs - just like the Japanese at Pearl - caught America asleep at the wheel in 2008. It will not happen again. They think many stayed home in fear, but most stayed home because of our lack of choices...John McCain.
They should not confuse lack of interest, with fear.

This article is pure rubbish. These are the same morons that put Bambi in office and this writer is just making stuff up with this little ditty:
“So bad is the administrations current relationship with corporate America that even the typically Democratic-leaning media moguls are suggesting that the independent electorate is unsettled enough to tilt the upcoming November elections in favor of the Republicans. In fact, that was the hope of one cynical mogul looking to jumpstart his business.”

What is needed to calm fears that he is a socialist is for Obama to announce that he is fullfledged believer in free-market capitalism while holding copies of books by Milton Friedman, Hayek, Bastiat, Rand, and a few others. He should then state that capitalism is responsible for America being as wealthy as it is, and that socialism only leads to disaster. He should then back that up with action by announcing huge spending cuts and tax cuts for businesses. Don’t hold your breath.

I dont think they are anti-business, its more nuanced than that, but they appear that way because they jump too quickly on the bandwagon.
You can drop the diplomatic niceties, dude. The Obama Regime is one of the most anti-business administrations in American history. That is a fact that has been proven time and time again since Zero and his minions took power. There is a deep-seated hatred of business amongst this bunch, and they take no pains to hide it.

Lauria's actual article is a lot more interesting and informative than this commentary about it.
The underlying sense of the article is that these guys think Obama and team have no clue about what to do: that they react emotionally, and with short-term motives; that they have no idea about what a business-based economy is all about; and that the Obama team is vindictive and dangerous to them.
It doesn't necessarily bode well for the Republicans -- after all, there's also good money to be made by stepping in to help the Democrats "fix" things -- but it does mean that Obama is not safe from challenges on the Democrat side of the aisle: another Hillary Clinton run (for example) might well gain their support.

Starting a business is the triumph of hope over history, as 96% of all new businesses fail within five years. Businesspeople are generally optimists. To have bowed before the Obama Golden Calf must be doubly disappointing now.

"The most generous comment about the current state of the economy," Lauria writes, "came from Google CEO Eric Schmidt, who serves as an adviser to the president on science and technology, and even then the best he could muster was that, 'Everybody is in a sort of funk.' Now, wait a minute! Didn't the Nobel Prize winning Economist, Paul Krugman, just tell us that Obama didn't have anything to do with businesses choosing not to expand or spend money? He can't figure out why they're not taking risks, and hiring folks, in this economy. /s
