This is one way to earn a "Not cool, Dad..." comment from your daughter: Talk about her new braces while giving a speech.
But President Barack Obama did just that Thursday while delivering remarks in Kansas City at a fundraiser for Senate candidate Robin Carnahan.
"You know, the — I don't have teenagers yet — Malia's just turned 12," said Obama, according to a pool report. "She's my baby. She's going — even though she's 5'9" now, she's still my baby. And she just got braces, which is good, because she looks like a kid and she was getting — she's starting to look too old for me."
How positively insenitive!!!
This is not the first time he's made the mistake of calling attention to this youngster --> 78% in science
And, his wife calling her daughters fat publicly... eeeks
If I were one of those kids, I'd wonder if I wasn't adopted...

Many teenagers think their Dad is a dork. Eventually, they grow up and find out that Dad was and is a heck of a lot smarter and wiser than they could possibly have imagined.
Poor girls ...
They'll grow up, and realise that yes indeed: Dad really is a dork.

Someday they may indeed wish that they had been adopted -- by a nice family.
To Obama his children are props (it's a narcissist thing). They are valued possessions as long as they provide some sort of value, whether it's something the narcissist may like such as reading a bedtime story and hearing a sweet voice saying, "I love you", or fodder for a speech. The children are great as long as they provide the narcissist with something he wants. If they stop providing value, they're ignored in the same way a 5 year-old ignores a toy that no longer interests him.
