Stay Alert..(Those promoting Sarah Palin as RNC chair may not have good motives)
me

Posted on 07/07/2010 8:34:55 PM PDT by se_ohio_young_conservative

Stay alert to those who are promoting the idea of Sarah Palin to replace Michael Steele at the RNC. This is an attempt to derail her nomination for the Presidency. There are some out there in the conservative blogosphere that believe the MSM line on Sarah Palin. When they promote the idea of her replacing Steele, they are really saying that she shouldn't run for President.

We may need to hit the nail hard with the strongest hammer we can find. Stuff her down their throats. But we are going to get her the nomination. She deserves the nomination. And then we can unite in time to take back the White House.

Good post. The left and the MSM gave us McCain in ‘08, I truly believe that is what happened.

I say go for broke with true conservatives in ‘12 - Palin/Bachmann.

Sarah Palin is not afraid to say the truth. Haven’t seen anyone else with that courage since Reagan.

Wholehearted agreement.

She is the Repub version of HopenChange

That's a smear, and is wholly unwarranted. She's nothing of the sort. In fact, there's almost no resemblance between Obama and Palin besides the fact that they're both human.

For starters, Sarah Palin was a state Governor. She got there the honest way - by earning it, and working her way up the political ladder by the sweat of her brow, and doing what was right for her constituents every step of the way.

She was a small business owner, who learned real life lessons about how our free market economy works. She didn't just learn to repeat some theoretical principles out of a book. She's signed the front of a whole lot of paychecks.

Sarah Palin believes in American Exceptionalism, and understands that our Constitution, Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence are the most revolutionary documents ever penned by the hand of man, and contain the best formula for individual and national liberty.

Sarah Palin has integrity. She's got honor. She has courage. Obama has none of these things.

You slander her, sir.

Becoming party head would make Palin the target of
every democrat sniffing to find financial impropriaties
to tar her with in a presidential campaign.

She is much better off running her own campaign as she
has been doing, and very well I might add.

This woman has got the drive and the reasons to want
the job and she certainly is qualified to take it on.

I can see her as the first female President of the
United States, and easily for two terms, then I can see
her as head of the GOP.

“Those of you who sit behind your keyboards carping on her, and endlessly repeating the Democrat attack points against her are showing the rest of us where you really stand.”
Right On.I began hearing of Gov.Palin in 2007 and in the spring of 08 told a friend it would be a shrewed move on McLames part to choose her as V.P.I didn't hold out much hope since I knew Sarah was not in the “Good ole boys” club.
Sarah Palin didn't get to where she is by being dumb.World leaders would automatically think they could bowel her over and then get their butts handed to them before they knew what was going on.
I have always supported her and will continue to do so all the way thru her second term as POTUS.
Now,let the ankle biters attach me I don't care, you all are not worth the time it takes to respond to your idiocy.

You don’t seem to give Palin much credit at all. You make her sound like an airhead. She is not an airhead. She is very serious about wanting to help the USA get out of this rut we are in.

It she can keep in simple. and connect with people through a conservative vision, she could win. she can win.

I don’t know why you use the word “Evangelicals”. Not everyone that likes Sarah Palin is religious.

Much appreciated.

Every person of good conscience who is aware enough to see what’s plainly visible, should stand and defend Sarah Palin and the truth.

It’s very sobering to me that even at the most conservative forum online, our best hope for 2012 can be so viciously attacked and undermined.

All I can deduce is that the establishment attack machine is already in high gear, and on full tactical deployment.

She is unelectable for the office of the President. A majority of people will not vote for her.

I'd be willing to bet a bottle of 18 year old Scotch that if you do a basic internet search you will see the same sentiments made by pompous gasbags who think they know everything about Obama and Regan.

Yeah. If heading the RNC helps her resume for 2012, I’m for it.

I don’t know if it does or not, but I’m for it if it helps her.

Sarah Palin didn't get to where she is by being dumb. World leaders would automatically think they could bowel her over and then get their butts handed to them before they knew what was going on.

The parallels between Ronald Reagan and Sarah Palin are almost eerie. He was attacked, vilified, and ridiculed almost identically to what we see happening to Sarah Palin now.

He was attacked and ridiculed from both left and right, but persevered, with his uncompromising America First message, through good weather and bad.

Americans also recognized something unique in Reagan that they resonated to, and Sarah has that same quality. She is genuine, as was Reagan. People don't just see and hear this, they somehow sense it, too. It goes beyond mere looks, words, and packaging. It's a rare quality, but people know a leader when they see one. Sarah Palin has LEADER written all over her.

I have always supported her and will continue to do so all the way thru her second term as POTUS.

Well said. I'll be right there with you, friend.

Right on, Forty-Niner. Truth is, we surround the anti-Palinistas. She will be the 45th President of the US in 2012.

Of that 40% who aren’t Conservative or Liberal, I think Palin should be able to get 10% +1 easily. Based simply on the fact that she’d be the First Woman President.

“She is unelectable for the office of the President. A majority of people will not vote for her.”

If you are going to make that claim at least go out on a limb a little and say who you think is more electable.

There are bigger and better opportunities for Palin ahead for her. And she is everything the RNC is not, so I doubt she would even be in contention for Steele’s job.

That being said, I do hope whatever happens with Steele happens very quickly so we can get this behind us as we go into the election campaign months.

Anyone who's been paying attention knows that the independents (that 40% you're talking about) are breaking hard to the right, at this time.

The squishy middle gave "Hope & Change" a chance in 2008, and have since awoken to a nightmare that they desperately want to get out of.

The wind is at the backs of every Tea Party Republican candidate, and they are winning races all over the country. This will not abate any time soon. In fact, it's going to accelerate. People are scared to death of what the Democrats have done to this country, and many are no longer afraid, but furious.

Sarah Palin stands atop the growing panoply of Tea Party Republicans because she is the most rock-steady, most courageous, most originalist patriot of them all. When she announces her intention to seek the office of President, it will light the fuse on an explosion of popular support that will rock the nation.

She's going to take the White House walking away.

They have soiled her enough already.

LOL!! They tried to soil her - their garbage cannot stick to her because it's not her's.

Why on earth?

Because this is a conservative site who uplifts possible conservative candidates. Why does that bother you?
