Poor, poor, Regulator . . . she was so intent on telling rudester what he saw at Wal-Mart, she slipped right into delusion.

The thread is here for those familiar with the American idiom. The meaning of what I wrote is clear. It’s even clear to you despite the lame CYA, otherwise you wouldn’t be obstinately continuing to write the incorrect “Wal-Mart.”

Meaning is clear, huh? So tell me, Coleman shipped these coolers to my Wal-Mart, where they were rebranded, and then re-rebranded before they were put on the shelf? Doesn't sound like much of a business plan to me but I'll defer to you, the expert on what I saw . . . should I be worried? Is this an insidious Chinese plot?

Your bs really isn’t all that dazzling, rudester. We’ve been talking about Walmart all along. If you want to play games and pretend we were talking about private label to serve your need to CYA, then go right ahead. Nobody’s fooled, though.

It might appear to be BS to you, but you are stupid. I specifically asked you what has been rebranded Wal-Mart. If you are talking about the name of the corporation, instead of the coolers I saw on the shelf, you should've been a little more clear.

Your responses indicated that you were talking about the coolers. I can't help you with your English skills, sorry.

You ask someone what the heck they are talking about, and they decline to answer or are vague about it. Then, they make fun of you . . . what a way to win the internet.

My responses indicated nothing of the sort. You've attempted to pawn off a mistake on some made up notion of private label beer coolers, which doesn't hold water because you were asked about the brand name, if you care to recall.

Now, you take care, get some fluids in you to ward off dehydration in the morning, and have a happy holiday weekend once you recover sufficiently. Maybe you can even try your new flag-wrapping routine out in public.

It is novel, coming from the likes of you. My, how times have changed.

Good night.

Can you explain the above? Where was my "mistake?" This still doesn't make any sense.

Somehow it's important that WalMart or Wal-Mart is now Walmart.

I guess that's more important than her feeling that WalMart sells nothing made in America.

The way I'm reading this, now, is that I tried to "pawn-off" my use of the term "Wal-Mart" on the observation that I saw Coleman and Thermos brand coolers there?

Is that about it?

If you spell it Wal-Mart, the American goods you saw don’t count.
