Where was our news media? Where was our president and congress? Why does the official move from Washington go against American private citizens and their guns, and not an all out war against the drug cartels using fully automatic military weapons, hand grenades, launchers and machine-guns? Why is the president pushing for an international gun law that will bring registration and finally gun control to we American citizens? Who is for free and lawful American citizens? Where are our statesmen? Where are our patriots and where are champions for the Constitution and freedom and safety of American citizens?

This is not a false cry of Wolf! Wolf! The wolf is already ravaging the sheepfold. Until now we are acting like sheep and are in great danger of losing the greatest treasure on earth: freedom and opportunity for us and our children and grandchildren. .

And the media, et al, were making fun of Brewer talking about beheaded bodies in the desert. Haven’t found any north of the border yet, but it is only a matter of time now. And the gang war is beginning to crank up in Sonora, with 21 dead south of Nogales (the same place the cartel is threatening off-duty police).

Where was our news media?

Well, the TODAY Show did a piece about Arizona this morning. Seems a poor little dog was lost deep in a cave and a hiker rescued it. Also, Anne Curry commented on the shootout 12 miles from the Arizona border. Question that came immediately to mind was "Which side of the border, Annie?" Didn't hear a peep out of them re: Obama's speech.

We're being gulled. Prepare for the worst.

Looking for booby-traps?

Not a bad idea but unlikely taking into account the "previous owners."

The rifle on the bottom left of the third picture has the forward assist; that makes it an M-16A2 at least. Full-auto or 3-round burst, select fire.

Actually all semi-auto AR's are equipped with the forward assist now. BUT, you are getting warmer...

Did anyone see Glenn Beck a couple of days ago when CA Rep Pete Stark was on there making fun of the Minutemen? It was the most shamelessly arrogant idiot-fest I’ve ever seen from a Congressman. They kept asking him legitimate questions about securing the border, and he kept insulting them. He said things like, “We’ll see if we can get you some more arms so you can shoot some more people.” Who have the Minutemen shot? Then when an audience member chastized Stark for making jokes about the situation, Stark said, “I don’t have to make fun of you (Minutemen). You are doing a great job of that yourselves.” Disgusting in the extreme.

And he didn't ignore them because?

Two reasons, first $$$, if he ordered them out, then Texas would have to pay the bill. Second, the federales would just federalize them and order them to back off and go home.

The national guard doesn't belong to the states, it's just on loan to them whenever the feds don't need them.

I don't see that power in the Constitution.

The national guard doesn't belong to the states, it's just on loan to them whenever the feds don't need them.

The Constitutional system was for the national military to be composed from State militias. Up until the Civil War, that is how it worked. I therefore do not see any substantive Constitutional change permitting that line of authority without a Congressional declaration of war.

My guess is that a couple of friendly Mexican types bought those at the loop-hole table at the local gun show.

What happens to this confiscated cash? Does it get back into circulation at some point or is it destroyed?
