Rev. Jeremiah Wright unleashed a slew of racially charged proclamations at a seminar in Chicago last week, reportedly comparing the United States with apartheid South Africa and claiming the civil rights movement was about "becoming white."
The comments were reported by the New York Post, which provided details about a five-day class President Obama's former pastor taught at the Chicago Theological Seminary.
In the seminar, Wright reportedly told those in the class they will never "be a brother to white folk," describing racial divisions in the country as entrenched -- as he did as pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ.

Take a look at the “reverend” - he’s lighter skinned than a suntanned Irishman.

Well, they'll never be my brother because A) I never had one to begin with and B) both of my Parents were white, which pretty much rules out any black children.

It seems to have worked out pretty well for him. I’ve got kids with darker skin than Rev. Wright’s, and they’re only 1/8 Cherokee.

So, he wants blacks to be a perpetual underclass,
because what he’s really railing against is assimilation
into the successful AMERICAN culture.

It’s nothing new. Newark (NJ) Central High School in the 70’s: Students who wanted to learn instead of just occupying space in an age 14 and up day care center were called “oreo”, “uncle tom/aunt jemima”, “race traitor” and even “white m-f”. By the faculty and administration. Peer pressure and authority pressure to remain in the underclass.

Rev. Jeremiah Wright unleashed a slew of racially charged proclamations at a seminar in Chicago last week, reportedly comparing the United States with apartheid South Africa and claiming the civil rights movement was about "becoming white." This from a guy who lives in a brand new 10,000 sq. ft. home built by his church in a high end gated community that has only 2% blacks living there.
Sounds pretty damn 'white bread' to me.

They’re called Democrats. I can’t imagine how Rev Wright would answer this. But he seems to be one of those that Washington speaks of, at least with comments like these.

Wow. Wonder what the “Reverend” would label Mr. Washington? Nothing complimentary, I’m sure.
