A white Ford pickup with Arizona plates is driving north on U.S. 191 headed for the Utah border. Afraid of encountering police, the family inside is traveling at night. The pickup's headlights cut through a sea of darkness.
The family is in a hurry to get out of Arizona, to get away from the state's harsh new immigration law.
The pickup crosses into Utah at 11:59 p.m. Luis Sanchez breathes a sigh of relief as his wife, Marlen Ramirez, keeps driving. Both are undocumented immigrants from Mexico.
"Look," he says. "We are here. We have arrived in Utah."

“undocumented” = Illegal Alien = Foreign Criminal. They should be arrested, everything taken from them so they leave their ill gotten gains behind, made to work hard labor for 1 year and deported for life.
No, it wasn’t AZ. They may also require it now, but there was another state that just put in a law requiring people to provide proof of legal residency for services. To me, this is the way to handle it.
It’s meant to create hysteria and give the press and the Dems some (fake but real) ammunition.
As opposed to Mexico's very generous laws toward undocumented aliens.
Also, I may be wrong, but aren’t there some AZ cities that have “opted out” and don’t enforce laws requiring proof of legal residency?
The thing to do is make that a general requirement and prohibit cities from evading it. Also, in terms of what you do when you get somebody who isn’t a legal resident, obviously, if it’s an emergency you have to treat them or do whatever is necessary. But then the step should simply be to bill their home countries - and take it out of these countries’ foreign aid if the countries don’t pay up.
Of course, now that Bambi is considering legalizing the millions of (mostly Middle Eastern and other Third World) visitors who have overstayed their visas for ten or 15 years, just like his auntie on welfare in Boston, what does it matter?
¡POBRECITO UTAH!
Boo Hoo!
“harsh new immigration law”
Harsh?!?! Compared to what? Mexico’s immigration law? Compared to how foreign invaders should be treated. They haven’t been shot at with machine guns, rolled over by tanks, or blown up with a hand grenade. these things would be justice, perhaps these would be harsh. Show me your papers or you’ll have to go back IS NOT HARSH! IT’S NOT RACIST! It is incredibly lenient!!!
“undocumented immigrants”
They are not immigrants. Immigrants come here legally. They are foreign invaders or illegal aliens.
¡EXACTLY!!!
We have a motto in Arizona that applies: “Welcome to Arizona! Now go home!”
“Let them come to Sanctuary City Chicago. Instant social benefits. And when they rob, murder, and maim, the cops promise not to inform federal immigration authorities. And the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Sun Times and all local radio and TV stations will refuse to report the criminals immigration status. Like minded as well: the corrupt cabal that is the City Council has voted to boycott Arizona. As if the broke, bankrupt city had any money to spend there.”
Put up signs at the border (and at the borders of every state):
“CHICAGO WELCOMES YOU WITH OPEN ARMS!”

I once read an article about how an illegal’s cash was taken from him at the border because several thousand dollars in cash is suspected to be drug money.±
“Raul Ladrón worked for 15 as a dishwasher to bring back his savings to Mexico and now it was taken from him at the border.”
*sound of weeping* ¡Pobrecito! Oh no! *Gnashing of teeth*
No sympathy. He stole a job from a legal citizen. Unemployment is officially at around 10% (closer to 22% if everything is considered). He should’ve stayed in Mexico.
Go home and cry on your great big pillows, but do it in your home country.
± I don’t remember if it was our govt or Mexico that took his money. Good chance the story was made up for sympathy anyway.

They were given a GPS and we know how accurate those directions are.. My guess is that they were lost. We have a California, Pennsylvania (near interstate 70) would be funny if they turned around and headed back and accidently cross into Mexico.
Luis got his jobs using fake papers.....
Which means he’s using a Social Security # that doesn’t belong to him? Isn’t that a form of identity theft?
8.7%? Oh, well, then obviously they have lots of jobs for illegals in PA. They’ll just undercut those who have jobs and in no time at all the rate will be 12% like it was here.
