Report: IAF planes spotted over Saudi Arabia

Israel Air Force aircraft have been spotted in recent days at a Saudi Arabian military base unloading military equipment in the city of Tabuk, in northwestern Saudi Arabia, according to a report from Iranian news agency FARS.

The base will reportedly be used as a forward operating base by the Israelis as part of an offensive on an Islamic country.

I share your dismay at this revelation. If it’s true, I hope the Israeli government cuts off power to the building, and once the building is empty, levels it to the ground.

Thanks jhpigott for the ping, as you noted, an Iranian "news" source. Gotta be Iranian-source disinfo, same campaign as the "Saudis give IAF green light" stories that have been poppin' like mushrooms all this year.

Ha! No. But you said, "I’ve been in Saudi before with zero problems -— on a US Passport, but openly Jewish." The inferrence was they were "tolerant" of your presence.

But after your posting on what happened with your daughter at her school and your comments on that thread, a reasonable reader could conclude you are a pretty imposing presence.

So, I was just ascertaining if there was indeed some sort of tolerance in the scenario when you passed through Saudi Arabia, or if they were thinking, "I better not say a single disrespectful thing to that big, burly Jew, or he'll break my skinny Arab butt in two."

That's where I was coming from with the question.
