It doesn't seem to be much fun to be a darling of the left these days. Tuesday night, I heard a torrent of whining when Bill Ayers and Cindy Sheehan were joined via Skype by avowed communist atheist Sunsara Taylor for an event at the Evanston Public Library, just north of Chicago. Turnout was a disappointing eighty souls or so in a location accessible by El train, odd in light of the fact that the event was sponsored by no fewer than five organizations. Maybe it was the rainy weather that night.

That was a fun read! I wish I was there--it'd have been fun to have these two call security on me for laughing.

Sheehan especially seems completely depressed that she has been thrown aside by the media. She was finally getting attention she obviously craves. That Vanity Fair photo of her on her son's grave was one of the sickest displays ever, something no mother would do if she actually cared about her son.

I wonder if these clowns have ever read the first amendment. Its starts off with "Congress shall make no law... Only the government cannot suppress our speech. However, everyone else can. Just because you want to speak does not mean that everyone has to open their doors up to you to provide you a forum. It does not mean we all have a duty to listen. Only jack booted thugs would think that everyone else has a duty to listen to what they have to say...

You've nailed it! I'm so sick and tired of hearing how the Dixie Chicks or Helen Thomas had their First Amendment rights trampled on because they lost airplay or their job! If the federal government isn't suppressing speech, then no one's First Amendment rights are being violated!

And considering that Ayers once advocated murdering 25 million people, I have no doubt whatsoever that he'd be happy to force march people to listen to him speak.
