I wanted to see what the DU folks had to say about Obama's speech tonight. Apparently, threads are being locked and pulled. I did find one interesting thread that shows that even the DU members' confidence in Obama is wavering. I tried to edit for language somewhat.
Here are some exerpts:
"When it comes to Obama speeches anymore, I'm like Gary Larson's dog...Blah, blah, blah Ginger blah, blah, blah Ginger blah, blah, blah..."
"I was underwhelmed watching it on Olberman just now and agree with most of what Olberman and the commentators are saying, unfortunately."
"Un f...ing believable! I am so disgusted!...Sorry, but I'm not buying that crap!!!
"All this talk about the future is nice, but I beg, "where is the fierce urgency of now"? What about the current operational c....f... of cleanup efforts? What about the current unfolding disaster? Hello???"

Somebody could make a nice profit selling Obama’s photoshopped head pitching a Sham-wow as his latest oil spill solution.
Two bumper stickers I saw on separate vehicles here in liberal Austin yesterday:
“Don’t blame me. I voted for the American guy.”
“Germans in 1932 thought they were voting for change too.”
every liberal i meet... i greet them by saying something like:
“Happy day 56! that enough change for you yet?”

In case anyone did not see or note this last night .........
Of all the bizarre things, I saw Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews, and Howard Fineman heavily criticize Obamas speech on one of the MSNBC after-speech shows last night. It was unreal. All of these three losers have been water carriers for Obama all along. It was truly beautiful to see what I saw.
(I don't hold any hopes of this treatment continuing, but it was good to see.)
Thanks...that is hilarious!
I have noticed the same thing as well, the moderators are gutting almost all comments that disagree with the tilt and lean of the Obama Agenda,
Basically its an internet version of a firing squad if you disagree.
Won’t be too much further down the road there will be the real deal.
I feel quite sad that so many Americans chose a failed political view and direction and were duped into following such a failed agenda.
Which illustrates yet another big difference between DUmmieland and the Free Republic. When George W. Bush supported amnesty and submitted Harriet Miers' name to the Supreme Court, there were LOTS of threads here harshly critical of him. None were locked.
BTTT
Only shows all the right reasons of who has the better philosophy.
Yes here at FR we allow the good, the bad and the ugly.
Its the idiotic tantrum threads that get pulled, stuff the left get orgasmic about on a daily basis.
Everyone take a deep breath and say...
one termer.
DU is pathetic, however on this coming November election night they will be the best show in town.
The meltdown will be total, the insanity hilarious and thread viewing will be locked out and accessible only to people with an account.
Any FReepers who wish to revel in Schadenfreude will need to get their own account ahead of time.
Sure, after a few bong hits, they'll forget they were ever disappointed with him anyway.
As bad as it is being a conservative in 2010, I’ll bet being a Leftie is head-spinning.

Seriously... I love to see it but this would mean a lot more to me if I hadn’t almost been kicked off this site for dissaproving of McCain. I know that wasn’t Jim but some of the mod’s sure hated on me for it.
