General David Petraeus Faints At Senate Armed Services Committee Hearing

During a United States Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on the status of Afghanistan, Gen. David Petraeus, the head of U.S. Central Command, fell ill.
According to NPR's David Welna, Petraeus was slumped on the witness table, next to Michele Flournoy, the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, with whom he was scheduled to testify.
Minutes ago, Sen. Carl Levin (D-MI), the chairman of the committe, said that the general "appears to be doing very well," and that he is drinking water.
With help, Petraeus was able to walk out of the hearing room in the Dirksen Senate Office Building.
"We will decide whether or not to proceed in a few minutes," Levin said.

Of course they are. They are also trying to cut his budget so much that the mission will fail.He probably just saw the budget cuts that the dems have planned for the DOD and fainted.

I saw him speak at the Union League Club in Chicago recently and noticed he didn’t eat before his presentation. It’s quite possible he hadn’t had enough to eat prior to his testimony before that idiot Levin.
