Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) says US Senate candidate Alvin Greene's (D-SC) win in last week's primary race is highly suspicious.
Clyburn says South Carolina used voting machines that all other states rejected. In fact, they were bought from Louisiana, he said.
"Something went wrong with these machines," Clyburn said. "They were very unreliable," he added.
"All you need is a magnet" to compromise the machines, Rep. Clyburn said.
Who would have a motive? "The motive could very well be to embarass the Democratic party. This could be embarassing if we do not get it worked out. Or this could be someone who wanted to ensure a victory [for incumbent Sen. Jim DeMint]," Clyburn said.
Clyburn concluded there is a "great possibility" that someone paid for him to run and tampered with the machines.

Wonder how Alvin Greene feels about his fellow Dems treating him like the skunk at the picnic.
I wonder if Clyburn ever commented when a Rat got more votes in a precinct than there were voters registered?
I don’t like the way everyone is running down Alvin Greene, I think he sounds like every other Rat I’ve ever heard on TV.
Neither political party pushed for reform.
I decided at that point that elections in this country turn out the way they were meant to turn out. Greene may be the exception which shocks people because the system failed.
Basically, it's all a scam.
I know its old and worn out but I call this a “trial run” by the left.
Win the elections by any possible means. Time for fundraising!
They will need billions to buy the votes, buy the machines, buy the judges,and to buy the enforcement that will insure nobody questions them.
Same as Obamas election.
Democrats loathe voting machines. Machines frustrate their preferred method of cheating, perfected over countless election cycles, of stuffing ballot boxes with manufactured paper votes.

The Democrats know ALL THE WAYS to rig or adjust voting machines of any kind. Else none of them would ever get elected.

Of course, a Democrat did win the election/nomination, but that just proves the point.
More likely few were interested in who the Democrat candidate turned out to be because that person was very unlikely to win.
A “trial run” might be spot on.
But perhaps it’s the other side of the coin. Perhaps they’re not able to manufacture a win in November, so when the republicans sweep the dems across the nation, they’ll claim there was a massive conspiracy of electronic tampering and launch an “investigation,” the findings of which will be whatever the “independent” panel is told they will be.
Remember — never waste a good crisis, and this is a good trial run of a crisis.
