Barack Obama has compared the impact the oil spill disaster will have on the U.S. national psyche to 9/11.
The president said the ongoing environmental disaster will 'shape how we think about the environment and energy for many years to come.'
His comments, made in an interview with U.S. news website Politico, were today criticised by relatives of those killed on September 11, 2001.
Mr Obama said: 'In the same way that our view of our vulnerabilities and our foreign policy was shaped profoundly by 9/11, I think this disaster is going to shape how we think about the environment and energy for many years to come.'
But the families of the 2,976 victims killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks hit out at Mr Obama for being 'off-base'.

If the comparison is real, then, in fact, yes. Yes — it is a disaster of global ecological proportions that have been willingly abetted by his do-nothing administration. It is a disaster of world-wide economic proportions that fits compactly within the framework of his administration’s goal to world domination. Finally, it is a disaster of biblical proportions - a monument to the utter incompetence of electing a false messiah.
This little dumbass has no boundaies in his arrogance and stupidity. He makes a fool of himself at every turn but his narcissism doesn’t allow for him to realize it.
If this idiot maintains a moratorium on off-shore drilling, the consequences of the spill will be severe, but they will be due to HIS RESPONSE to it.
More fruits of his efforts to “heal our broken alliances.”

The only way that the oil spill would be comparable to 9/11 is if it was caused by the actions of Islamofascists. What does Obama know that we don’t?

Within 26 days of 9/11 (10/7/01) Bush had launched an invasion of Afghanistan.
Bush didn’t blame United and American airlines for 9-11, decide to kick their asses, and announce that they would pay all the damages
