According to Capas, the man said that at about 8:30 a.m., he was making repairs to his company truck near the Cavot Road exit, just west of the New Mexico State line, when a gray colored 80s model pickup truck pulled up behind him. Two Hispanic men, described as 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet seven inches tall with dark hair and mustaches, approached the vehicle as if to offer some help, Capas said. After the driver finished the repairs, he said he was punched in the face by one of the men while the other man brandished a small handgun, she said.
