Charles Djou, the newly elected Republican Congressman from Hawaii, was questioning Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke as he was testifying in front of congress. He asked him a fairly simple question, but the problem was, Bernanke didn’t have an answer.

Djou asked Bernanke if he saw any fiscal exit strategy from the United States Congress. Bernanke’s response? “Right now, um, there is not anything on the table at this point.” (h/t Cubachi)

A straight forward question and answer. So basically the Administration does not know what to do. We have some Republicans that know exactly what to do. I hope enough people realize this come November.

Djou asked Bernanke if he saw any fiscal exit strategy from the United States Congress.

I watched this live and thought Djou's question was silly. Bernanke is responsible for monetary policy while Djou himself has a say over fiscal policy.

“Djou himself has a say over fiscal policy.”

Such as it is being the member of the minority party in an out-of-control Dem Congress.

Shouldn’t he instead said, “Everything’s on the table. We’re not discounting anything”? Are these guys really the best and brightest?

Heck. This is good news. If these incompetent pieces of crap did nothing, the economy might recover faster. Maybe that is finally sinking in, but i doubt it.

They are just incompetent.
